Welcome back. The campground you are staying at sounds nice but doubt I will make it to South Carolina any time soon. Enjoy the peace and quiet. The state parks fill up almost every weekend here.

I'm in Oregon, but I'll be headed to FLorida in October. Are you headed back down that way? I have three weeks in the Keys in October, but then will be staying a lot in the three COE campgrounds: St Lucie, Ortona South, and WP Franklin, plus some time at Midway, another one of my favorites. All of these are federal campgrounds with electric and water, except Midway has only electric, which is OK.

And a bunch are getting together in late February at Hillsborough SP.

I was wondering how and why this post vanished into thin air.

But I finally found it by sheer accident and it had been moved and combined and it's a miracle I ever found it again at all.

I just don't understand how things work around here, kind of the same problem I had a few years back when I was on here.

I've been enjoying the wonderful solitude here. In spite of my numerous invites to other campers, no one seems excited about half priced camping but me.

A lot of people from the south on here but they're all traveling or stuck like I am if I had my freedom I would come and visit you I'm always looking for places to go but can only go short distance at this time.. Some post do get moved they are moved some times where people are more likely to see them such as this post was moved for that reason I think other reasons for morning coffee other reasons on morning coffee sometimes two people posting close to or at the same time they will get merged ... I think every person on this forum is interested in half price they just cannot make it at this time like me... keep posting things will turn around and more will be coming south in the winter
PS.. if you are having proplem figuring out the Forum please ask questions we will be glad to answer and help it's better than being frustrated trying to figure it out
