Friday, July 8

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Friday, July 8

Morning,

Getting hard to think up a catchy title these days, so you are stuck with the date. Anyway, it's Friday. For those of us who don't work, another day of the week, for those who do, the weekend is coming :D

Mes of rain moved through late yesterday and during the night and we barely got a drop out of it all  Keep hoping that maybe it will do some today. Decided to leave the grass alone. Under the trees, it's green but in the open, all brown. Got into a flowerbed cleaning out and replanted it with new Globe Yew shurbs. Have been looking for some since I moved here and finally found some. Wanted to get them in the ground. Think I sweated off about zillion gallons of water yesterday in that sun. Transplanted two flowers i want to kep and threw the rest. The shrubs are no maintenance other than periodic trimming every couple of years or so. So now that that bed is taken care of for most part, will work on side of house transplanting some wild geranium that I still have planted in a big tub for now. It needs to go in the ground. That's shady alongside the house. Might or might not do that today. Later. Errands to run first and a couple of flea market, garage sales I want to check out. Looking for a desk for my office and a table for my kitchen. Never know what you might find out there.

Brain is starting to think travel time now too. Tossing over a couple of ideas for later in Sept. and also early Aulgust. Nothing major, just short jaunts. There is a group called Women Who RV that some of us belong to and they are having a GTG in Brown County SP near Nashville, IN in late Sept. Thinking of going. That would be a great spot for a WRV GTG too. Am heading north to U.P. for first weekend in August. Or plan to anyway. Have a couple of irons in fire here now, so will see what happens. Tree crew will be coming to do some work for me, might be couple of weeks down the road. Neighbor told me last night that his son is coming up this weekend and is looking for work, so they might tackle this deck remodeling job I want done for me. Both are very capable of doing that. Debating what color to paint the deck and porch floor yet. Too hot and humid anyway.

So, that's all going on around here right now. Hope ya all are doing okay out there. Haven't heard anybody mention any health issues, RV issues other than couple of awnings needing replacement, etc. So guess we are all in our everyday routines of life. Have a good day out there today all.

If you do go to Brown County be sure to check out this sculpture right down town Nashville. It is beautiful. That is where we used to live. And the fall is beautiful.

Good morning ladies
Out shopping this morning already, early morning is best cause
there's no people and its cooler. Breakfast first, hoping to kick in
an appetite by hanging out at some old familiar stomps. Next stop
is WalMart to buy a GPS. Thinking about taking a quick trip to San Diego,
sent Lyn a pm but have not heard back yet, so I don't know if she's out traveling
or not. The weather is definitely cooler on the beach but coming back into
the hot desert is always a let down and I'm not sure I'm up for anymore
letdowns. Its back to work Aug 3rd, so,,,,I do have a few weeks yet to do
something, and the car is road ready, new battery, tires and brakes.
Don't want to ramble, y'all have a great day and be safe.

Morning,
Just waiting on my farrier who is currently stuck in traffic on Rt. 80. Poor guy I hope his ac is working.

My July opened up with the death of a kitty client who had booked a long sit in the middle of the month. Bailey had always been a good cat, never a problem and was quite old when his owners helped him cross the Bridge. So now I'm kind of at loose ends; thinking of a few trips I'd like to do but DH is way too busy so I may have to go alone.

I have reservations for the Brown Co. gtg, and also for a gtg with an IL group at Mississippi Palisades S.P. in IL.

Ok, gotta go, farrier is here now!

I decided to keep the vet appointment for Annie this morning. I had found a bump in her flank that felt like a marble under the skin. He said that it was probably from the last shot he gave her. She is still doing good with the allergy. He said to put a flea treatment every 21 day instead of a month. She and Stinky like to go out late in the afternoon and I found a flea on Annie the other day.

I only had two things to do, go to the vet and pick up some checks at the bank. Guess what I forgot to do. It is getting worse and worse. If I don't have a list I forget what I went to town for and my list is usually on my desk instead of with me. There were a few other things I wanted to get but it's too hot to shop with a cat in the car. I haven't decided whether I am going back to town or not.

I started waxing my camper yesterday but didn't get very far. I got the cab and about half of one side. I can't see much difference on the side but the cab really shines.
