Gmorning all :)

Beautiful weather here this morning. So sad about all the fires, & now the disastrous flooding in WV! Hope all of our forum family is safe.

Catherine, so happy the wedding went smoothly. They are a lovely couple! Sue, the new house is sure keeping you busy, but then you're always busy with some house project! Hope Barbie is having an enjoyable get away. JudiB, missed your bday as well as some others. Sounds like you spent it with dentists/doctors? I'll miss Micki, but was nice of her to let us know she's taking a break from the forum so we don't have to wonder. Thanks Micki, if you're reading this.

Can't remember all that I had to catch up on? Guess I'll get on with my day. Sun has risen, so one more cup of coffee, & then out to putter in my yard. My typical day!

Y'all have a great one & be safe always 8-)

Good Morning Carolb and all,

Thanks for starting coffee Carolb. I'm busy this morning with banking, washing and breakfast. Getting things in order before i head north for my week of fun. Going to the Farmer's Market in a bit and also doing a little grocery shopping. Not much as I can shop up there and not have to haul stuff along.

Another sunny morning here. Supposed to be quite warm though. But after tomorrow, cooling down to more normal which is around mid to upper 70's. So Carol, you aren't the only ones out enjoying cooler weather in ID. We here in MI have been having perfect summer weather as well.

My energy spurt for yesterday was to clean the house and also wash the outsides of the windows, which haven't been done in who knows when . The windowsills were filthy, full of dirt, dead bugs etc. Not anymore. House smells no nice and fresh and clean. The back two bedrooms need a good cleaning yet, but they are a work in progress for rainy weather. Still have boxes to unpack and closets to organize. d Would rather be outside doing stuff and also thinking more and more of being on the road someplace. The girls are out playing in the yard. They love the new area I fenced in for them. Can run around the trees and since I took the railings off the sides of the deck, they go tearing across that too. All kinds of fun. Love to watch them.

So guess I had better get moving here. Good time to go to market is early. It's a good sized market as it 's expanded over the past couple of years or more. Lots of vendors from around northern MI and also some craft people etc. Sometimes they have entertainment as well in form of musicians playing etc. Fun place.

So ya all have a great day today. Keep cool those in the heat and avoid floods, fires and what not as well. Be safe on the roads.

Good morning! A cloudy day in central VA. A good day to finish my screen project for Aflo - need a few more magnets along the top to hold the door screen in place. I'll have to take & post some photos of the projects I've been doing on her in prep for the big trip out west in August.

Otherwise, tidying up after a few days up in the Shenandoah Nat'l Park hiking. Finishing laundry, drying out the wet gear and cooking supper for a friend this evening.
No matter where you go, there you are

Good morning all. Boy be careful what you wish for. I wanted cooler weather and we sure got it. Bill pulled all the covers [sheet and light weight quilt] over him and I woke up freezing. Thermometer says 43! So I'm up dressed in t shirt under fleece sweat suit and still shivering. He put the electric away somewhere so can't put it on. And don't want to use furnace cause it makes so much noise it will wake him up. And just found out how to turn on a burner on the stove. Have to use a "spark knob" and the burner knob. Making fresh coffee.
Now that the sun is up it should warm up nice here in Hagerman Idaho. By Monday it is supposed to be 97 in Boise where we will be visiting friends. So guess I should enjoy this.
Drove around the area a little yesterday. An area where there are several water falls going into the Snake River.

Today we'll go into Twin Falls - I'm out of Jelly Beans! Also check on a windshield repair for the Jeep. Car in front of us yesterday threw up a rock and put a nice chip in the window. Last time we were in Idaho a truck passing us threw a rock into the passenger side window of the RV! Must be something about Idaho.
Stay safe traveling.
I wrote about our travels on the blog - its in my signature.

Good morning ladies
Its been such a busy week keeping Bills grandsons busy and
costly as well. Ka-Ching ka-Ching and Bill rolls his eyes. The
motorhome went back to the repair place, turns out the regulator
went out in the generator, and also had them put in new spark
plugs. It will run better, and hopefully get a tad better gas mileage.
So far I've been able to judge 275 miles on a half tank, means I should
be able to do well over 500 miles on a full tank. You girls that drive
those big class A, does that sound average?
Having a little peace and quiet this morning as Bill took the boys
rockin for treasures. Guess they got bit by the rock hound when
I showed them my rock collection. Bills going to buy us a tumbler
on Monday, he thinks its for his ammo reloading equipment. Lol
We leave Thursday to take the boys back to Winnemucca NV, take
our time coming back. We have a trip planned in July to Oklahoma,
for his sisters birthday, I will meet the rest of the family. Looking
forward to that, will take a couple weeks on that vacation.
Well, about time to get busy here while the house is empty I can
run the vacuum and dust. Bills son and wife are coming this afternoon
to visit and tell us their adventures in Ireland over the past couple
weeks. Y'all have a great day and be safe.

Ava, I don't know about Class A's but my Class C takes a long time to go from full to 1/2 a tank of gas. After it passes 1/2 it goes down fast. I know I have a 55 gallon gas tank and I get 10 miles per gallon so it's pretty easy to figure how far I can go. I try to get gas before I get to 1/4 because I don't want to have to worry about finding a station I want to use. I don't want to have to push that thing. lol

Yesterday when I left the vet's office with Hank I was behind a large 5th wheel toy hauler. One of his trailer tires blew. It's a good thing he wasn't going very fast. It looked like a pretty new trailer. He eased along to a side street and pulled off the highway. There was a vehicle following him so I didn't stop. They were probably on the way to the state park down this way. I went back to town a couple of hours later and I met him on the road so they got the tire changed. I had ask the vet about giving Annie another allergy shot so they said to bring her in. It looks like the shot is helping her already. The vet wants to check her in 2 weeks. The first shot he gave her when she was in for her annual check up. It lasted for 11 weeks so kind of doubt she needs to be checked in 2 weeks. I have a friend that uses the same vet and we both feel that they are more interested in making money than our pets. They wanted to know if I wanted a box of dental chews for Hank. Those things are a dollar apiece and Hank didn't like the sample they had given me. I need to brush his teeth, like that is going to happen. He is too hyper.

Carol, a little bit of blanket weather might feel good. It's 94 and overcast here so if the sun was out it would be even hotter. They keep talking about the heat index being 100. I guess that's the heat and humidity. My son ask his son if he wanted to go swimming. Didn't get much of a response. It looks like it will be a summer of him playing games on the computer or watching tv.

We're headed off to a picnic in Sonoma today. Got some ham and cheese and crackers packed and they will bring rest.

Doctor appointments are not done yet. Got a retinal scan scheduled for Monday and an appointment to see the ophthalmologist on Tuesday to get results. Then my son and I are taking kids to Lawson Beach for Thursday and Friday, and the following Thursday will be off to Oregon and Washington. Whew. I have work to do for my class, part of which will be working with someone from online learning staff to update my class, so got to keep up with that. College will pay me to do that but only have one class so lose income on that. I am determined to get my spending under control this coming year with more COE and dry camping, and less driving.

Going to be hot today, but Napa at least is much cooler than Central Valley.
