We left Alamo, NV still in search of cooler weather. Stopped at Pioche, NV still hot at 6000 feet! Spent part of the day touring the town - in the air conditioned car. Lots of history here. It was a bad, bad town in the late 1800's. Worse than Tombstone. RV park has 5 whole spaces - but has good wifi and was level.
Now we are in Ely, again at 6000 feet but a little bit cooler. You can check out the pictures of Pioche http://travelinginrvandlivinginlasvegas.blogspot.com/ It is a two part blog.

Great tour. I love to explore places like that. You passed the Charcoal Ovens outside of Ely. Nice campground and cooler than Ely, but no hookups.

Pretty interesting how the town has lasted. Sure a nice looking rig you got. Did you paint jeep to match?
