My friend who lives in that area took us to see the covered bridges in 2009 when we were there. Such a beautiful area. She lives on a ranch at the foot of the mountain near Scio. Oregon is a wonderful place to visit. I would love to go back. Solar on my van was done at AM Solar in Oregon and our veg oil system in the bus was done in Corvalis. There is a nice county fair grounds in Corvalis with an RV park at the back which is useful if needed though pretty tight spacing all are drive through if I remember right and easy access to lots of fun stuff in the area. We stayed there overnight before delivering bus a few blocks away for the veg oil install.
