Settling down Friday

Postby Colliemom » Fri Jun 17, 2016 5:53 am

Good Morning,

I'm in my new home! Everything has been moved and out of led house. Feels great. Course boxes everywhere, but will unpack slow but sure. Kitchen is priority first. Rest can wait for ain't day. Got a bit warm in the afternoon though. Bent was a nice time with friends and neighbor.

Am going back over to old house in a bit here to clean the house for he new people who will be up here this afternoon, move my trailer over here and check yard behind the dogs etc. Then plan to mow grass. Last day to have to kind of push a bit. After this, do at my leisure. Have some outside priorities I need done before long, but need to contact the right people first. So Guess I will get moving and "get er done" before it gets too warm. Have a nice day all :)

CONGRATULATIONS SUE!! Bet you are glad this is all behind you and you can enjoy your new abode--
Beautiful day in MN, sunny and warm. Working today but tomorrow planning on going kayaking with a friend, just have to decide which river!

Have a great day everyone and safe travels to those on the road.

Good morning ladies,
Congrats to Sue, unpacking will be the tedious part, but of
course little bit at a time will make it easier.
Bill left a little bit ago on his way to Nevada to pick up his
grandsons. Have a few things on the agenda to get accomplished
before his return Sunday night. Also need to drive into the valley
today and check on the fifth wheel and stop by daughters to do a
quick repair on Jacks blankie. A bit of it came unraveled . Looking
forward to seeing Jack but not looking forward to going down there
in the heat. Not much else to tell you, time for breakfast and
get started on my day. Y'all have a good one.

Good Morning! Sue, congrats! So glad you have the move done. Ava, such a treat to be out of the Phoenix heat! Gotta rescue Jack's blanket tho!!

Yesterday's move to Port Republic was long and drawn out. Since the resort had my trailer in storage where I couldn't get to it, I had to have them bring it. Long story short, the airbags had deflated as I figured they would in a week. Of course, they had no idea what to do or an air compressor. Thank goodness the rain had slacked off during all of this. Actually took a couple of hours to get the trailer! And when will I ever learn to check for trees in the way of my satellite when I park! Thought I'd move this morning, but a lot of rigs pulled in after I did.

Didn't make my stop for groceries yesterday so will take the SS to do that this afternoon.

Enjoying Liz's photos on FB but haven't had a chance to look at her blogs - think service is better here. CArol, I hope things are going better. Such frustrations!

Make it a great day and safe travels!

Good morning (barely)!
Long day ahead at work, almost 10 hours.

I met a nice guy on-line the other day and will be meeting him on Sunday evening. Looking forward to that.

My dad's sister passed away yesterday. She was 94. She fell last Sunday and broke her hip, had surgery on Monday and went downhill from there. She was my dads only sibling and the only one in the family he was still talking to. I am not sure how this is going to affect him. I guess he gave the scammers another $3400.00 yesterday.

(Got busy here at work si finally taking break at 3pm!)

So looking forward to my camping trip next week!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
