Now it's Tuesday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Now it's Tuesday!

Good Morning,

Yep O'Sharon, you called it right yesterday. I was building fence, but not before I had to be over at new house at 8 am.to let tech from heating company in. Neighbor had made arrangements to have furnace cleaned and serviced cause she had some funds accumulated in a service plan she was on and they wouldn't refund her, so now I don't have to bother with furnace till next year. Sons were off to pick up the moving truck. Took off for town when they came back to pick up 4x4 posts for fence gate. Took a load of stuff over to the garage after they left me in possession of house and then finished installing fence etc. So was busy day. Can't say what Carolb was up too. Like you say, watching the garden grow  Need to get moving this morning too as carpet cleaning service coming to do house carpets. Going tomove outdoor stuff over to other house and plan to do kitchen over there this afternoon. Want to stay off carpets. Could wind up moving boxes though as rain in forecast for tomorrow and had planned on moving tomorrow instead of Thursday. May be going back to Plan A.

Ava, hope it was just sewer line Bill hit. Better than Han the other ones. That's what I had to watch when installing one fence post close to gas meter. If I decide to expand the fence out more, will have gas company mark the line first. CArol, I certainly hope you can get some things done at your place. It's very frustrating I know.

Cloudy morning here, this quiet weather is bringing out the mosquitos again. Oh well.

Time to get a load of wash going, get dressed and get this day moving. Two more days and it's all over. Then just unpacking and organizing as I want. Hope you all have a nice day today.

Sue, things are moving fast for you! Hurrah!

I wish I'd been in Philly last night for the kid's book talk:

He'll have one in Michigan this fall, though, so I just have to be patient. And I'm so good at patience -- haha

Guy coming with a rototiller today. I've given up on double-digging the new garden beds. My shoulder keeps giving out. Grrrrr! Can't seem to find anybody who will do that kind of work, either. Ah well! Supposed to rain tonight, so I want to get plants in the ground this afternoon.

Wow, Sue, you have a busy few days ahead! I keep wondering how the dogs are going to react to a different yard that is so close to what they are used to. ?? Just a random thought! Liz, been enjoying your photos and narrative! Alice, a sewer pipe is bad enough but glad it wasn't a gas line!

I got a couple of things done here yesterday and then went to help DS work on the drywall project. I think it's about done and is ready to be mudded. He is going to work on the bathroom today but said he should be able to do that without me. I need to finish loading Lola for my trip tomorrow. Getting excited to meet up with Carolb! By the sound of the forecast I'd better take my rain gear! I noticed late last night that my older pup has been digging at his back again, he has a small red spot on his hip. So I pulled out the Benadryl and used the special shampoo on him. So he got a half bath at 11 last night! Just what I needed when I'm planning on being gone! :( The up side of it is that we'll be in close quarters so maybe I'll be able to keep him from scratching and biting it and making it worst.

Well, guess I'd better go get dressed and get my day started! Happy traveling for those of you on the road and hope everyone else have a good day.

We are in the middle of a thunderstorm and torrential rains right now. Nothing severe tho, other than some localized flooding.

My last day off before my camping trip next Thursday, so I wanted to go thru some camping stuff I have in the garage. Will have to wait til later when the rain stops. Don't want to get drenched going out there and back! Will go downstairs to my storage unit and see what I have down there too.

Laundry and bill paying today, as well as ordering the cross bars for my Jeep to put the kayak on.

Sue, good luck on moving! How do you put those fence posts in by yourself? That seems like a two person job! I am still keeping my eyes open for a cheap room to rent for after the summer to start paying off my debt.

I worked a 10 hour day yesterday! I have talked to my manager about cutting my hours back down to where they should be. Most hair stylists work about 32 to 34 hours per week and that is considered full time. I am putting in 10 hours more than that the past several weeks. Way too much time on my feet! Feeling it in my knees now.

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good morning ladies
Well, we did not hit a sewer pipe, it was just a piece of debris sewer pipe that had gotten buried. That's good news. Taking a day off from everything today as Bill does not feel well today. Hoping and praying its nothing serious even though he says he's
fine, I'm still worried about him. He's typical stubborn man about health issues.
The big rolloff got delivered this morning, two day laborers come tomorrow to start the cleanup process. Picked the new carpet yesterday for the two little bedrooms, install is tomorrow. Got more than half the new fence posts set yesterday as well. Think the rest will have to wait till after the grandsons visit. He leaves Friday to go pick them up, have decided to stay here and hold down the fort and of course take care of the dogs. The
return trip however, we will take the motorhome and see a few sights.
See the news of Barbz dear Robert passing, my heart goes out to her.
No more news from me. Y'all have a great day, be safe.

Thanks for asking about me and the job the other morning, Sue. Crazy here again lol - I just posted on my workampers post here that we have another opening :o - I thought, at the start of the summer, this would be the easiest year - you know the phrase be careful what you wish for? Well,... BUT - I am taking a three day weekend next week - going to head over to the Little Big Horn area and I'm doing something unheard of for me - I'm not taking the rv, but going to stay in a cabin at a cg which allows dogs. I'll have two days to explore different things in the area - then back and I'll either be working double shifts to cover for the employee leaving, or training (hopefully) a new employee. Fingers crossed.

Barbie, we had that storm last night. We got the thunderstorms with major rains, but areas around us got big hail, and a tornado (very unusual for this area) hit not far from us. Stay safe.

I'm reading posts here as I have time, but way behind in responding. Stay safe, continue having fun ...

We just got heavy rain earlier but now there are severe storms moving this way from the southwest. Two tornado warnings south of here right now. Storm will be here in about an hour and seems to be getting stronger as it moves north, so hoping we don't get too much damage! Am hoping my kayak is safe, got it in a pretty good spot right now so keeping my fingers crossed!
