A lot of beautiful scenery and a lot of history in this part of Oregon.

I'm curious though, when you get to forests, etc, do you ever worry about bears? How do you know what wild life (bears, moose, elk, wolves) could be in the area? Something I'd learn sooner or later, but would love to know.

The only time I was a little concerned was years ago when I went on a long hike in the desert. I was returning to my car when I noticed large foot prints following mine. Never saw who ever made the prints. lyn
