It's been 3 or 4 years since I've been to these places - both were nice at that time. Sugar Barge was kind of hard to find but it is on the Delta.

Those places seem a little pricey. Maybe we should find something a little farther away.

Here are a couple more about an hour from Sac:

Collins Lake

Lake Francis[url]

Lake Oroville

These are all north of Sacramento.

Sandi, didn't you stay at a campground somewhere east of Sacramento?

Oops!

I wasn't suggesting this place for a gtg w/georgy, but rather just mentioned it as a place I like to go when I have the time.

I have been to Sugar Barge, pricey but nice. Was there with a club and theynwere able to park us all in a row. Took sons to Collins too and it was nice.
