Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Friday

Gmorning all:)

Just a quick hello. Really should let Sue open with all her news ;) And more cleaning/purging to do.

Donna, Phee trusts you, so it was smart for you to put the muzzle on. Remember that for next vet visit:) My pups aren't "bad" at the vet, but could be because I do try to be "hands on" as much as the vet will let me? Hi to Margie--really enjoyed our gtg when I was there this past winter.

Ok, y'all have a great day & be safe always 8-)

Thanks for starting Coffee Carolb. I've been busy this morning. Putting the hardware back on the mirrors for the little dressing table I have been repainting for neighbor. It's all done, except for a few touch ups. Didn't come out as great as I would have liked it as paint she had was old, wasn't going on good, weather was drying it as fast as I was painting etc., but it's done. Will take it over later today or this evening.

I suppose you are all wondering how the house closings went yesterday. Like smooth silk. No glitches or nothing, everything right on the nose. The gal did a great job. Very well organized. So it's all over, the signs are down, I am the owner of a new house and am just living in this one till next week. I have 21 days, but don't need them. By this time next week, will be writing from the new house. Feels good to be over all that. Carolb, are you thinking of selling your house? You have been mentioning that you are starting to purge and clean.

Heading to town this morning to renew my truck plate and have my Driver's License address updated. Also need to refill Molly's eye drops. Her eyes are doing real well by the way. Run and errand and then home to touch up the couple of spots on the mirrors for the table, then will put together the big fence gate for the new yard fence. Looks like rain moving in this afternoon, so will work in the house here as want to wipe down all the shelves in the closets and cupboards and pack up what little stuff is left in the house. Getting down to the nitty gritty here.

So with that, I am going to wish you all a nice day and be off.

Good Morning from Cape May, NJ! No thanks to the GPS, I made it! Will start seeing cousins today and wedding is tomorrow. Will be here a week - mainly for some beach time. Beachcomber RV Resort is probably typical of the area, but kind of funny. My trailer is not allowed at my site which has happened before. Had to unload at the gate and they moved the trailer to their storage. Site is grass and sand, not fancy, long - so why no trailer? Hmmmm. They gave me a packet of local advertising that would take me a week to read! :)

Sue, glad things went smoothly with the closing! Carolb, I may have some time to kill before Cooperstown on July 20. Staying in NJ until July 7th.

Gotta get movin'!! Make it a great day and safe travels!

Morning!!

Sue - glad it's all done, nice that it went smoothly. At our first house closing the seller showed up without ID, we all sat there (with lawyers charging by the hour) while he went home to "find it".

Anita - you have more relatives than I can even wrap my head around, I come from a tiny family... I could see everyone I'm related to on earth in two quick visits. Must be fun!

Morning all. Finally got on here early enough for morning coffee. I usually get busy in the mornings and forget about it until it is after lunch.

Weather here is PERFECT for my liking. High will be in the 60's and cloudy...YES Did I mention I hate summer, I hate the oppressive heat but at least we have low humidity Last week we were sweltering in the high 90's to 102. I just hibernated. Last year was a record heat summer ever for Oregon called it the "hottest summer on record". So I am hoping this would be the "coldest summer on record" this year LOL. Going to the coast for a week or so at the end of the month for some cool camping, I might not come back LOL

Sue so glad everything fell into place for your house moving and you did not end up "homeless" ha ha Heard from Sarah that you got your FB account back....good for you. I sent you a friend request.

Liz will be catching up with me at the coast the end of the month after she visits her relatives can't wait to see her again. Heck she has seen things here in Oregon that I did not even know existed....dang I need to follow her hee hee Oh wait she would kill me off on the first hike.

Today is just a housecleaning day with the door and windows open to air it out. Gotta vacuum and dust then just kick back for a bit.

Still morning here! Casey had a bath and nail trim at a "do it yourself" pet shop down the street. She looks great and, smells better. My daughter helped, held the hose while I scrubbed.
I've been lovin the pictures from Anita's SS rally and aLiz's Oregon trail.
We are so lucky\fortunant to have these women who know how to post pictures and share them with us...especially me who can hardly walk.
It is not the knee itself that hurts, it is further down the leg and sometimes in the instep. And, sometimes in the other ankle!
Sue, am happy for you and your new house.

So sorry you are hurting Lyn. It's likely a result of the change in you gait after surgery. Hopefully thr PT and Dr can help figure it out and help you progress. When Mel had back surgery he ended up having to have knee arthroscopy a few months later because of how his gait changed.

Karen, I think there are a lot of us that would like to follow Liz around if we could.

It's 93 and sunny today. It rained sometime early this morning. Now the radar shows scattered showers in the bottom half of the state and East Texas. I would like to get the weed eater out but that's not going to happen unless I decide to do it right before dark. I wish it wasn't 5 hours to the lake because I would sure like to be up there.

Very hot and humid here today  . Has clouded up now so hopefully won't get too much hotter. Mid to upper 90's forecasted for today and tomorrow. We are crazy busy at work today. 9 hour day for me but at least i finally got a lunch break (at 3:30).

I am recovering from my emotional breakdown (always happens right after my visit with my daughter). Yesterday was like PMS on steroids! :o I feel calmer today. :D Good thing I don't drink!

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
