I was there years ago in near 100 degrees - and no electricity! Are there hookups now in the state park? Also, did you get a chance to check out the town of Pioche? Interesting place.

Yes, some of the sites have electricity and they were not all full over the holiday weekend which surprised me.
No, I missed Pioche. Next time. The high temps is why I got out at first light and hiked a couple of trails. I had them all to myself and that plan worked out well.

quite an impressive area!! agree with Velda not for mid summer in Nevada Gasp would be so hot
need to look it up perhaps a road trip with my daughter next year maybe
