Fabulous Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Fabulous Friday

A Great Good Morning to you,

Can you tell I am bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning, I am. Had a pretty good nights' sleep last night. Only woke up once. Then about 4:30, Molly wanted out. After she came in, went to sleep till Piper woke me up about 6. Could tell she wanted in bed, so hauled her up, she snuggled down against me, put her head on my arm and went to sleep. She may be small for a collie in size, bur more than makes up for it in love.

The sun is shining brightly this morning, air is cool, mosquito's buzzing around, even Molly doesn't want to stay out long. They will disappear later as the day warms up.

Got my trailer cleaned yesterday, now just need to wash a sheet and make up the bed, restock my supplies and all set to roll when the time comes. Planted the rest of the flowers I had left over from the other day, now that I got another planter. Cut my neighbors grass and cleaned out some hazardous waste stuff in her garage. We have our annual hazardous waste day next weekend, so am taking some stuff up. Also brought home a table she asked me if I could paint for her, so will do that today, or at least start on it. It's black and she doesn't like black. She's busy getting ready to move as well, as her house is also sold, so she is having people who have stuff stored in her garage and basement to come get that stuff out. Looks to be moving in maybe 3 weeks or so. Neighobr who's house I am buying is also busy packing and getting ready to leave next weekend as well. I"m in a bit of a lull right now as there are things I can't pack till later, but rain is predicted for Sunday and Monday, so will start doing a bit more. Am already down to using plastic picnic cups for drinking, the paper plates and TV dinners will follow later

Nikki, maybe there is something in that particular part of FL that is causing your severe allergy and asthma problems. Might be another area where you can go without having to move back north. Lyn, sounds like you are moving along getting stuff ready to roll too. Sorry to hear about all the cat issues. My two girls had a merry chase with a bunny in the yard this morning.

So, going to be heading off to town in a bit. Few errands and picking up the woods to build some fence gates for the new yard fencing. Have a great day all. Those with health issues, hope you are on the mend or at least working toward getting better.

Good morning all
Well it has been an ongoing fight with my ISP to get regular service here. Modem keeps going out and yesterday I couldn't connect at all; seems now I can. Was going to have another ISP come and install but I decided to cancel them until after I get the new modem and line filters from my current company. Want to see if it makes a difference.

Summer is filling up with trips and petsit jobs. Will be taking a week off this month for a vacation with the DH.

About all from here, have a good day.
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

I woke up about 4 this morning and the living room tv was so loud with some commercial that I couldn't go back to sleep. Harold was asleep in the recliner so I finally got up and turned the volume off. I finally went back to sleep and at 5:30 Harold called someone and then goes out and slams a door. I think I see a nap this afternoon.

I decided to get a hair cut so am going to town shortly. When my hair starts turning up in places it aggravates me. My hair has some natural curl but it never curls the way I want.

There was a recipe on Facebook for pizza cooked in a crock pot. I think I'll get what I need to make that and see if it's any good. I'm always looking for something easy for camping.

So far we haven't gotten much rain. The radar shows a big area of green over us but it's not raining. Last night they were saying we were under a flood watch until Saturday. Hope they are wrong.

Hello all. Going to be a hot day here in northern NM. Going to be even hotter, up to 100 tomorrow. Instead of being in mountains in northern Utah this week where it would be cool, I am headed to Salt Lake City to fly out to Atlanta again on Monday. My uncle is having his first chemo this week and a port inserted, plus a little radiation on the little tumor on his leg, so it is my turn to go. The other niece will handle things in later June and July while I am visiting my son and co-camping with them in Oregon and Washington. Will leave motorhome at airport and be back late next Friday. At least after this first chemo they will know what to expect for next time.

Going to take a walk before it gets super hot. I am at Navajo Dam, but this campground is on the river instead of the lake and no views, plus horrible two mile dirt road to get here that I never expected. Saw a trailer turn around because of the road. Got work to do today to catch up, so will be back after my walk to fix breakfast and work, work, work. Got two more busy weeks and then my teaching will be slow for about three weeks, which is nice because that is when I will be with grandkids in Napa! Going to borrow a car and take them out on some day trips. Maybe spend a day in San Francisco, as I have been wanting to do.

I headed to the mountains near Ely, Nevada to get away from the heat wave. High temps in the low 80s, lows in the 50s. Ward Charcoal Ovens Historic State Park. Only draw back is a 7-mile gravel road to get there.
