I just got through all your posts. All excellent. I got a chuckle how we're all proud to get that "old age" pass - that we even call it that lol

That pass is the best thing. One government idea that actually works! On our last week vacation we saved $80 for park admissions alone. Even when we go to visit our son who has a boat on Lake Mead it saves us the price of the park. Love your posts lately. Have you watched the weather here in Nevada - heading towards the 100s soon.
And for anyone coming to Vegas in the future - the time of free parking at the hotels is stopping on June 6th. Charging for self parking and $15-18 for valet (plus tip.) Even locals have to pay. Mostly the MGM hotels, but sure others will do the same soon.

Yes, I am already rethinking my stops on the way to Oregon. I had some other NV places picked out to explore, but some will have to wait for a cooler time of year. I have paid for my site here in Valley of Fire until Tuesday. Glad I was able to get an Electric site.
