Gmorning all :)

Sue, sounds like the lake house is meant to be! Happy to hear all is well at the gtg, bail fund not necessary at this point? Weather nasty--Catherine, are you glad to miss all those lovely storms going through Kansas?

Veggie garden is planted. Looks like I'll be working on flower beds all summer. Opened up some new large ones last fall and will fill them with mostly perennials a little at a time.

Lyn, been meaning to mention that I finished "Atlas Shrugged" before I got home from my trip--wow, quite an interesting story/philosophy!

Alice Honey, down to your last 2 days!!!!

Y'all have a great day & be safe always 8-)

Good morning. A beautiful sunny day again today! Wow, 2 in a row...so far! Doesn't sound like it'll last but I'll take it! Rain supposed to come back tomorrow so today is yard day! Carolb, sounds like you've been busy since you got home! And Sue, hope everything works out with the lake house for you. Love the pics of the GTG, looks like fun! Donna, are you planning a trip back to PA this summer?

My SIL has had several showings on her house so hoping someone makes an offer! One couple this week end seemed really interested but apparently need to check on financing. We'll see!

Not much happening in my world which is fine with me! I want to work outside today but first have an appointment this morning then I can come home and get busy! Love the longer days! I need to sign in to my bank and try to pay some bills, they were off line for several days for an upgrade on their system and everything changed. I managed to have to call for help yesterday getting into it! Got in but couldn't get into the bill pay since it was still down. So fingers crossed I can get into it this morning! Need to pay bills but don't have time to play with them rhis morning!

Enough rambling for me! Hope everyone has a good day and travel safe.

Morning ladies,

Wow, seems a lot of early birds up and also at em already. I too was up but was busy doing some things, like getting cleaned up and dressed and washing my hair, ran the vac and the dust cloth, then put away a load of wash. Never know when or if the electrician is coming in the a.m. or not, Wasn't cleaning house cause of that though, it just needed a go over. Doesn't take long as not much to dust anymore with the majority in boxes in the garage. I packed up some more yesterday. Am out of the heavy brown Kraft paper I am using to wrap my pictures in and WalMart is also out  So stopped in that dept.

Realtor is coming over sometime today to talk about both houses. Update me on the lake house repairs and also talk about neighbors house next door. Still isn't sure just what's going on with that deal. Said he should know 100% today. Maybe the people are hedging. So one way or other I shoud know which house I am going to before day's end. I hope. In meantime, going to leave here in a short to go pick up my trailer and bring it home now that it's all ready to go. Need some gas for my lawn tractor as will probably mowing again later his weekend. Apparently MI has a gas shortage right now due to an unexpected refinery shutdown and a gas line pipe break in WI. So Gov. has declared state of emergency to allow the truckers hauling gas to be on the road longer in order to keep state supplied with gas over holiday weekend. Not going to worry here as I just filled up day before yesterday. Just need to fill up the mower can as it's empty. On this mornings agenda.

Carolb, sounds like you will be spending your summer knee deep in garden and flowerbeds. O'Sharon, hope this weather pattern we are having moves over you way for you Been a whole week of sun and finally got some much needed rain last night. Supposed to have some showers maybe a few T-storms later today. Warm too. Almost too warm. Saw pics of some of the tornado's in the plains. Wow, big nasty looking ones.

Well, want to get the hitch on the truck and get over to dealer. Only a couple of miles, so no big deal. Hope you all have a nice day today. Keep an eye on weather if you are in areas where bad weather is predicted. Gals in the GTG have fun with what days you have left.

Good morning, everyone. Soldier on, sistahs. Soldier on. Yeah, fuzzy slippers are one of life's necessities. Those and a good stiff shower brush. Very hot water, a good brush, and a fluffy towel make an RV wash up feel like the real thing. The rinseless soap I learned about from Liz, makes the rinsing problem no problem.
PM for details. Postage paid.

Here's wishing you a good mattress and soft sheets.

Nikki

p.s. and a comfortable chair for reading real books. The paper kind. Preferably used with creases and stains and underlines in different colored ink and notes in beautiful handwriting that reminds you of your grandmother.
Life is good.

What is the brand? I am always leery about them, as I don't always like the way my hair feels when I am done.

I don't remember. I order it from Amazon and it has green print on a white background.

Soap, not shampoo. I wouldn't use a rinseless shampoo

Good afternoon! On my lunch break. Yesterday was crazy busy!! Did almost 30 haircuts  A little slower today but probably due to rain and thunderstorms rolling thru.

Beth, i did not hear that Linda was heading to SD but suspected that might happen. Will try to get out there this summer to visit!

Hope you all have a great day! :D

Is this the stuff? http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/no-rin ... dc3f6d153e

When I was in the hospital and could not take a shower for two weeks, they used to put several, maybe 6-8, of those cheap hospital washcloths in a plastic bag and pour on a diluted mixture of the above stuff into it. Then they would put the bag in the microwave for a minute or two until it was hot. I would sit in the shower on a bench with all my tubes and use one washcloth at a time. It really felt good, and I felt clean. I would think it would work for camping.

It did not work for hair, however, so I had to get someone to pour water over my head while I leaned over the bathroom sink once in a while. Used real shampoo for that.

Unfortunately, that no rinse is scented. Why do they have to add scents to so many things?

People here on the forum probably hadn't heard about Linda's change. But Barbie, she and I responded to you on FB :) so just needed to pull your chain a bit. Would love to see and meet you this summer.
