WEDNESDAY, WARMER, AND SS DAY!!

GOOD MORNING, ALL!!

Three good things right off the bat today----Wednesday middle week day, warmer (28 deg. F.), and Social Security deposit day for me! Makes me smile to have it all together!

Coffee is Hazlenut Creme again, with French Vanilla creamer sweetened with Splenda. Only draw-back is it's also Fosamax day, so I have to wait for that first cup!

School was as routine as usual, although the two-weeks accumulation of magazines to check in, put on the shelves, and file the old issues took the better part of the morning. I also had three carts of about 100+ books, EACH, the kids used for their research projects they completed before vacation to put back on the shelves. I really dislike shelving books as I nearly always have to re-arrange those that the kids misfiled before I can even begin to file those that are still out. Still have some left to shelve today. And all books were due yesterday, so I'll have a humongous list of overdues today to deal with. ACK!!!!

Somewhere between catching the latch on my neck chain that had my Jonathan Livingston Seagull on it with my bath towel a couple of nights ago and now, I have lost it and cannot find it anywhere in this house. I can vaguely remember bending over somewhere and hearing a 'clink' sound as I was doing something else, but I can't, for the life of me, remember where I was when I heard that. I always wear Jonathan, and I miss him. Sure hope I run across him before I vacuum him up somewhere.

I called my son in Orlando last night, as they had tornado warnings all yesterday morning. Some houses had roofs torn off, one caught on fire from lightning, and he had quarter-sized hail for about 2 minutes-----but our house came through unscathed, thank heavens. They estimated about 17 tornados touched down. I'll take this cold over that any day!

Cool here today, but it promises to warm up over the weekend....

Good morning everybody!

I just watched a beautiful sunrise over the OK eagle cam. That chick is getting very big!

Going to the podiatrist today to see if I can get some relief for my heel spur. Want to be able to do some hiking in AK this summer.

Then I'm going to hook up the RV and get it ready for a Friday night camp in the Ocala Nat. Forest. The cg and trail I wanted to do last time is open again after nearby forest fires that are now out.

I only got partway through all the posts I missed yesterday, so am looking forward to some more catching up today. Hope everyone has a great one!

Good morning sisters!

Another sunny day here and I'm still on spring break which means that i'll be having fun doing outside chores like raking, power washing, etc. The weather sure has been ideal to be on vacation. Supposed to get over 60° today. For the northeast in mid-April that's great.

good morning, here it is middle of the week and I was planning on going to work as my
cold feels like its under control, however, amidst a coughing fit yesterday I threw my back out
and now can barely walk. could not sleep last night, too much pain everytime I
moved or tried to move. I suddenly feel totally frustrated and don't know what to
do for myself, gonna have to call my daughter I guess. Feeding the dogs was really
difficult, I just about dropped the dish on the floor as it was so difficiult to bend
knees and stoop. Geez, this place is going to be a real distaster zone when I can
get to it to clean.

Ava, I am so sorry to hear of your troubles, Yes, think you should call your daughter for some help. This week has not been a good one for you, sure hope it turns the other way soon for you. Take care.

Soos, you sure brought back memories of my library days. I loved the work, know exactly what you mean about putting the books back on the shelves, they always seemed to need fixing first. That was not my job, but trained young girls and then always had to check on them. When short handed I always pitched in, so they would not pile up and were handy to be checked out again. I've often thought of volunteering my time here at my library, but I am not home enough

Gloomy out this morning, but no rain expected, which is unusual, it seems these days. Hopefully about noon, it will be dried up enough outside, from morning dampness that I can get out and mow my yard. Have an acre and half and its getting to look really bad. Around my front steps seem to be the highest and I expect company tomorrow and really don't want them to wade through thigh high grass

We have had a cold spell, a little bit of snow in the foothills yesterday. This morning there is frost on the roofs around me. This weekend we will have temperatures in the 80's. I will take shorts with me on my weekend outing. This will be a boondocking weekend with my RVW group. I hope my rig does well at boondocking because I have taken a job where I will be boondocking all summer. Should be interesting.

I'm happy and chirpy this morning ... with my impending tax refund I can renew the MH registration & change the oil ... getting ready for a trip -- any trip. LOL. Maybe I'll see if there's a camphost situation in southern Utah this spring ... or just head out boondocking. I'm getting a new (more stable!!) roomie ... and so the house will be cared for. Life is good.

I've had a busy morning. Gave my big dog Charley a bath, then just as I had the tub all clean, I let them all out and was chatting on the phone not watching. BIG mistake, when I finally looked out guess who was digging for moles in the MUDDY yard. EEEKKKK I'm just going to let it dry and brush it off I'm tired.

The sun is out today here after a long gloomy rainy spell and just got word our taxes are complete and e-filed plus we get a refund. I changed to a new tax person after several of you said what I'd been paying was too high. We really like him, even more now that we're getting a refund.

Ava I hope you get better really soon, do call someone to come help. You need an extra body when you feel bad.

Hope everyone meets the deadline remember post offices aren't staying open late this year.
