I ended up going to the RV Show with some friends. They were looking at 5th wheels. I will be lucky if I can walk tomorrow. My hips are killing me. It's not often I take anything but think I will take an Aleve. We were trying to talk my friend's DH out of buying a trailer now. They both work for a seasonal fishing company. They will be super busy until the end of October. There were only a few small Class C's and by the time I made it to where the Roadtreks were I was burnt out. I don't believe I need a $90,000 van.

Well, I had the Comcast tech out today to do a clean installation for my internet. It turns out the installation they did when I first moved in piggybacked on some pre-existing outdated wiring. When I had my handyman guys clean a bunch of old wiring off the exterior of the house, the internet connection disappeared. (This house will turn 100 next year. There are lots of old systems still hanging about, waiting to be stripped away.)

This tech looked quite appalled when he realized what the first tech had done, and he immediately did a clean installation from the pole. Internet is behaving nicely tonight. Good thing, too; I get antsy when the house is not connecting.

The William was at his elbow the whole time, observing every move! Luckily, the guy likes dogs!

Nine month old Josef is up in Columbus visiting with his First Mamma and co-owner. Cindy offered to keep him for another week or so until after the Columbus Dog Shows. It is good for his socialization to gain additional confidence in different environments and with different people and not get too attached to me. I want him to have the confidence to show well regardless of who is handling him. She will hand him back to me at the shows. We are both pleased with how he is maturing. Audrey will need to get her "beautiful" on for the shows, also. She picked up 5 more points while in Florida this winter but still needs 13 points to complete her Grand Championship.

The scoring project I am working on continues until about May 4th. I worked all the over time hours offered last weekend and will probably work most of them this coming weekend since I plan to be unavailable the weekend of the upcoming dog shows. I remind myself that the reason I am working these crazy hours is so that I can travel, support the dogs and play.....the rest of the year. I am now beginning to think about where I want to go next??????? :)
The "when" might be effected by whether or not I decide to breed Audrey in late summer. That would pretty much keep the fall schedule full around here.

Stuart is snoring on the couch. I think they must have spent the day out in the sunshine.

May you journeys be full of good possibilities even when they feel sometimes like they aren't. We usually find what we look for in the end...if we know to keep looking......

I had to be up early this morning so I laughed half an hour ago, 6:30, when Peaches went to bed. I guess she doesn't need another trip outside tonight. Silly girl.

Store opens Friday. A big mess this year. I'm opening unable to sell beer, wine and liquor because they screwed up on filling out the paperwork and getting the liquor license. If I hadn't asked them to bring me this years licenses, and make sure they had them all last week, wouldn't have discovered this yet. So, it's all in the works now and we'll hopefully have the license week after next.

On top of that, every year I've been here, the walk in cooler has been temperamental at startup, requiring service. It's a very old unit, but the service company had a man that always got it going. Well, guess what? He's not with them anymore and the person they sent out last week was totally lost with our dinosaur. The owners finally bit the bullet and ordered new. But we'll be opening without it here and installed. Hopefully that will be rectified middle of next week. Since half the cooler is normally beer and we can't stock it yet, they kind of go hand in hand, eh? As to pop, the fountain machine is on, and we'll offer a free cup of ice with any soda, etc, until the cooler's up and running.. I saved space in a free standing cooler for a small amount of milk.

It's going to be an interesting opening, to say the least. :-)

I think I'm going to grab a book and join Peaches in bed.

Wonder if Linda made it to her workamping spot in WI yet? Waiting to hear more about the possible GTG so I can get some reservations in. Need to make some for return trip home as well.

Part of me wonders what have I done???? :o I stopped in at a dealership to see if they happen to have a used truck that would fit the
wants that I have and have had no less than 4 or 5 phone calls from him one he called said didn't have anything he thought would be good for me
then immediately calls me back and say hey one is coming in as we speak!!! think it's just the one!!! describes it and it's lifted !!! so I say lifted??
thinking I know what it is I say what is that? just exactly what I thought...it was lifted I think 8 inches...I said I have to be able to get the 5th wheel
up to it and I sure the heck aren't going to crawl into the truck NO!!!! and he thought it was perfect for my needs??? after standing next to a truck with
4 wheel drive wish that it wasn't so hard to find a 2 wheel drive they are sooooo tall...there is actually one on the paper on line site that I would go look
at but the phone number is wrong on it...guess if it's wrong and it's a 2 wheel drive it will hang around for awhile  much of me wants to wait a bit
but then part of me thinks how much easier it would be to get the truck pulled into space if I'd just bite the bullet and pull on my big girl's and go get one!!!
then last night we had a huge wind storm!!! so many trees huge huge things down..a set of new bleachers at the district field tore up...it was quite the storm
we were out of electricity from about 2:00 AM to 4:00 PM seemed like a long time forgot to say rabbits!!! would have but when my son in law got up to go the bathroom yelled at him to tell dd no church due to outage!!!
well you all have a great day

STRESS!!
Haven't felt stress in a very lonnnnng time, but leave to our children, it shows back up
in the form of worry. Son of course, always the stressed but he's been beyond that
for years. But you know they are always our baby's. He went with a friend of his to pick up the guys motorhome from storage and drive it back to Phoenix. The guy flew them both out there, but the motorhome wouldn't start and the guy used up his funds trying
to get it started. Not sure of the in between parts of the story but son was suppose to be back by the 1st to pay bills etc and now he's stranded. Yesterday he tells me all is OK, they are going to keep the rental car and drive it back. He's in Ferndale Arkansas and today calls me said he had had it with his friend and left, via hitch hiking and ended up in Jonesboro Arkansas. He had some cash still so I told him to catch the greyhound to Memphis, $20. Allegiant fly's out of Memphis to mesa $94+baggage, etc. Booked him a flight to come home. However Allegiant only fly's twice a week, so, he has to hang out in Memphis until Thursday. So stressful knowing he was/is stranded. But mom to the rescue, and thankful I have the money to help him. Grateful my life has changed so much that things are not a struggle anymore. Bill even offered to pick him up at the airport on Thurs so I wouldn't have to take any time off and so Michael didn't have to wait until I could get there after work if I didn't take time off. My stress is all calm down cause everything is under control now and son will be home safe n sound soon.
