Sunny Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Sunday

Good Morning,

Beautiful spring weather here in the north country. Temps in mid 70's and plenty of sunshine. Sounds like wind was the word for a lot of you yesterday. We have had just nice gentle breezes blowing here these past two days. In fact, so gentle that the ice on some of the lakes isn't moving around, so is just going to have to melt away. Some areas are open, but wind is too light and from wrong direction to blow the ice out. Nobody's complaining though.

I was able to work in the yard yesterday and got the last of the debris piles picked up and things pretty well in order out there. Today I am going to do a little painting here and there on the house trim, then other than replacing a piece of trim wood by my garage service door, the house itself, should be all set. Have a couple of landscape things i want to do but otherwise that's it. Will just maintain and wait for a buyer to show up.

Saw the vet the other day for Miss Molly's eyes. She has Uveitius. An severe inflammation of the eyes. I saw the redness when he was looking into them. Now she is on drops for the next month until we see him again. Hopefully they will work. And talk about expensive. $100 a refill  Hopefully each fill will last awhile. So I am now on a drop schedule three times a day. Not bad though as it's every 8 hours and it's only the 2 p.m. one that I have to watch my time on. The other two are in the morning when we get up and at night at bedtime.

Carolb, sounds like you enjoyed your massage. Moving toward home slow but sure I see. CArol is getting ready to head north to her home. Soos is home and doing okay. Getting her strength back slowly. Rosemary, enjoy your two weeks. You will become a pro at backing that trailer in and if not, don't worry about it. You are not the only one. Even the guys can't do it sometimes. It's the nature of the beast. Saw you work schedule and see you are supposed to be done Aug. 5th. I will be in the U.P. camping that weekend and then planning to head into WI to the GTG . We can meet up.

Okay, time to get ready for mass here. Hope you all have a nice day, thinking of PattyK too. Those of you who are traveling, have enjoyable but safe trips.

Good sunny morning! I am really enjoying this string of nice days! I spent the whole day in the yard Friday and managed to take out a couple flower beds and throw some grass seed on them. It'll be easier to mow then worry about flowers. I had to run to Lowes yesterday afternoon for a new pair of garden gloves and a couple other things so did some visiting while I was over that way. So that took care of the rest of the day! So today I want to get out in the yard and get some more clean up done. I need to pressure wash the deck and may do that so I can put out the chairs. Then I can clean up the area where the chairs were stored all winter. Geez, the list keeps getting longer! But not complaining, I love being able to be outside.

Sue, glad you were able to find out what's wrong with Molly's eyes. Wow, drops are expensive! But if it works it'll be worth it. Any idea why it happened?

I'm looking forward to a visit from CarolB and her crew in the next couple of weeks. Always good to catch up with her and hear about her winter adventures! Donna, saw your photo of the ocean and it was really churning! Beautiful! And CArol, always good to get your rig all shined up! I need to think about waxing Lola this spring. I found a place to get her washed but will have to wax her myself. No one around here to do RVs. Hope you have a good trip home.

Guess I'd best get to my day if I plan on getting anything done! Hope you all have a good day and travel safe.

Good Morning Everyone !!! Another windy day, rockin' and a rollin' already this morning. Don't care how much it blows today, just hope its blown out by morning. For some reason not feeling up to par either, so hope that passes by too. Maybe its the rockin' and rollin" :)

Have many things to do today to ready for trip tomorrow. I never hooked water or sewer up Wednesday when I arrived as I had to leave early Thursday morning for repair visit, then I waited until guy had been here to wash and wax, didn't want such in his way, nothing to hinder getting a good job. Then yesterday just never did it, Nan came over to visit and we all went out to eat. Late in the day just decided would dump, load up with water and get rig ready to roll and not leave all for Monday morning, sometime today, haha, so I now have a lot to do today.

No news so will just keep it at a Hi to all, wishing you each a good day. Those that are ill, I pray you see improvements soon, I'm thinking of you all and hate the situations some are having to deal with.

Stay safe,
CArol
I have no place at home either OSharon to have the job done, so its a must while down here and they do a great job !!! I can still wash and use the rv wash and wax while at home, but to do the job he does, forget it and the fee is very affordable, so I have it done at least once a year, last yr think twice.

Morning all! Another windy day here on the Atlantic side of FL, It's actually warmer in the upper midwest than here, very odd.

Finishing some coffee then off to knock out the grocery shopping. Sunday is the one day we have off together each week so we'll head to the beach come hell-or-high-water a little later.

I have a lot to do today too CArol and I'm playing on the computer. I want to pull out in the morning. I sure hope the wind dies down. It's not fun to drive one of these boxes in the wind. I went to Sam's and Walmart yesterday and I was pooped. I did what I said I wouldn't do was buy a 40 lb bucket of cat litter at Sam's. I'm lucky my shoulder isn't hurting today. My motorhome could use a wash and wax too but that's not on the list today. It looks like I will run into some rain tomorrow so maybe that will wash some dirt off. Just so I remember to wash the windshield.

Queen, it's good to see you posting again.

Better get started on my 50 trips to the camper.

Good Morning,

Nice to see your post, Queen!

Tomorrow is traveling day for me as well. Will go to storage and get everything there ready to load - mostly consolidating. Then have regular chores to do. Not looking forward to going to cool, wet weather in Washington.

We had a marvelous day yesterday! 3 machines trailered to an area we haven't explored before. Manganese mines mostly tho some gold around. The highlights - 2 baby hawks in a nest (no parents in sight), one burro, one small horned lizard that I have no idea how L spotted and another hawk nest! Mama hawk was on that nest and Papa was really squawking at me - no babies. That was probably my last ride unless we go out after L's church this afternoon.

Everyone make the most of your day and be safe on the road!!

Good morning, everyone.
Just dropping in to say Hi & introduce you to the newlyweds.

This was the civil ceremony - performed on the beach at Coronado Island. Lunch followed at a restaurant in La Jolla overlooking the ocean. It was an absolutely perfect day. We facebook'ed his mom in from France so she could witness the short but beautiful event. What a relaxed & beautiful way to get married!
I'm sure the June wedding will be more stressful - but hopefully just as beautiful.

Well, now I want to catch up on what everyone here is doing.
Hope it is all good. :)

I'm back!!!! Had a really tiring and stressful trip to Atlanta for my uncle's surgery. It turned out that the lump is probably lymphoma, and we will get results later this week, but regardless of type of tumor, he is going to have chemo. I tried to help as much as I could, but it made them nervous to let me drive and they are housekeepers that are extremely exacting, so I could not help there either, in spite of them being exhausted.

I am at Monument Valley, headed north to fly out of Salt Lake City airport on Thursday for my granddaughter's 8th birthday. Will leave RV in airport parking. Very cold here in Utah, and I am scheduled for a tour this afternoon in an open truck, so going to have to really dress warmly! Got down to 37 last night and high today will be a cloudy 57.

Good afternoon! I must be in the hot zone up here in MN! 80* here today! Sun is hiding behind clouds but otherwise very nice. Worked until 2:30 today. Not very busy since everyone is out enjoying the great weather!

I am seeing leaves popping out on some of the trees now too. :D Need some color around here. Sue, it seems strange to hear you talk about ice on the lakes still. This is typically the week that the ice goes out around here but it went out a month early this year so lots of boats going in the water this weekend already!

Can't find another room to rent around here so I think I will stay put for now. I am looking instead, into other job opportunities. If I can find another job that is easier on me physically, and then just cut hair part time, that will keep me good financially. Like they say, if plan A or B doesn't work out, there are still 24 letters left in the alphabet!

Hope those on the road (or in the air) travel safe! Those healing, heal quickly! (my shoulder is doing much better now, too!).
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Thanks for the offer, Sheila, but I will be heading to Capitol Reef National Park and Zion right after I get back, so I really won't be spending any time in Salt Lake City. Then I am headed to Kodachrome Basin and finally Grand Canyon.
