Update on Bindi - 8 Weeks of Great Progress

Postby monik7 » Thu Apr 14, 2016 3:27 pm

I love this little dog so much and she's come so far. Today we're celebrating that she's been a member of our family for 8 weeks. I hope you don't mind me showing off a few pictures of our new baby.

"The only cure for a broken heart is to love again."

Her hair is beginning to grow out and I think she's gained the 2 lbs. the vet recommended.

She sure has gotten over most of her fears. And she loves toys. She will gather them up and put them all in her bed with her.

In the beginning I wondered whether she knew how to play. Not anymore. I have several very cute videos of Abby and Bindi playing. And Bindi knows how to dish it out too! These are some screenshots. Blurry because they're movin' fast!

Here they were both turning in a circle at the same time.

It was so fun to have the three of you here in Salome and to watch your girls in action!

Love these pictures. Even more love how the two of them have accepted each other. You and Abby are lucky to have rescued Bindi!

Doesn't it feel good to see them both so happy and having fun. Rescuing is the greatest. They are both absolutely adorable.

You picked that up correctly. When we go to bed she's like trying to get a toddler to go to sleep. She'll lie still, then wiggle all around on her back and lie still again. This repeats several times. She just makes me laugh. She does go to sleep quickly after this routine though. She's just so sweet, gentle and lovable. We are truly blessed. It's so rewarding to see her so happy in her new family.

Thanks for sharing your success story...it's fun to hear the little details...one of the best things about having dogs is the bedtime routines!!!
