I'm with Beth been there once would go more if I was in that neighborhood more often...and would have a membership
the plant that was just a few frames past the Fairey plant...looks like either a yucca or century plant what was it? not seen a stalk like
that one...when we went didn't see the javalen's

Sheila, I'm not sure what those two tall ones at the end are, but definitely different. I thought of you when I took pics of the following Palo Verdi's.

Good info about vultures. I used to dislike them until I visited a bird sanctuary in Sarasota. It was a very quiet day and no one else was there. A black vulture kept looking at me while I stood in front of his cage. I think he was trying to figure out if I was a keeper. Anyway, he jumped off his perch, flew over to a corner, and picked up an orange pumpkin squeaky toy and dropped it in front of me. I was impressed by that bit of intelligence.

they are so pretty there are lots of Palo Verde trees on BLM land in Q usually leave to early to see the Iron Wood tree's bloom but suppose
to be a really pretty bloom
be safe as you travel
