Last Monday of March

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Last Monday of March

Postby Colliemom » Mon Mar 28, 2016 6:21 am

Good Morning,

Here we are, the last Monday of March already! Time moving right along. Easter over, next holiday is Memorial Day and travel/camping season will be upon us :D

Hope you all had a nice day yesterday, didn't eat too much chocolate etc. I know I ate way too much at the brunch I went to with neighbor and friends from her church after a beautiful mass at mine. Gonna have to stop eating for rest of week

Another busy day here today. Last form I needed for taxes arrived, so will get with my preparer and finish them up. Have a load of stuff to take to Salvation Army store, bit of grocery shopping and a couple errands to run. Waiting for my RE agent to get back in town, in meantime wil finish up some loose ends around here. Supposed to be nice tomorrow, so will tackle garage.

So time to get busy. Hope you all have a nice day :)

Good morning Sue &all...yes March has marched on by fast..lol.. but I don't mind it just means April will be here soon and hopefully my cataracts won't be here.. hoping they can schedule it for this month of April.. put a little ham steak and asparagus on the grill beans and sweet potatoes in the oven and call it Easter dinner ... did not do much but lazs around... today I really need to get busy and get something accomplished I have a lot to do...believe it or not I have a bunch of stuff of mine that I need to downsize...not to mention everything of my dad's and this house garage and shed I sure would like to start downsizing his stuff alI have to do is convince him at his age and physical condition there's no way he's going to use all the junk he has... I would also like to spend a couple of days at Wickham Park Campground for a getaway and dump tanks we will see how all this shakes out have a great day & B safe...donna

Good morning! Well, looks like the forecast changed again, wind advisory today, rain but now no snow in the forecast! Guess we dodged the bullet again! Crazy!

I was supposed to have the grand today, even got up early to get ready to go pick him up. DS texted me and said he was staying home today so wouldn't need me! So guess I can do a few things I want to do done! Had a nice dinner with them yesterday. We ate early but I brought home some of the ham so snacked on that last night so didn't have to cook!

Tina, you are a brave lady! I'm afraid I would be a people watcher too! And Liz, another beautiful hike. Donna, glad you and Nan had such a fun time. I remember her talking about the sewing machines! And Sue, you are moving right along with your plans. I have so much more to do before I can even think of getting to the point you're at! Peggy, glad to hear you made it home to CT! Sounds like you had a good time too!

Well, I need to make a couple of phone calls and get into my day. Definately a stay in the house day! Have a good day and be safe on the roads if you are on the move.

Good Morning Everyone !! It's moving day here, had a great visit with two of my cousins yesterday afternoon. Today will move on and visit my friend who had the stroke. Will visit a couple days then back to DDs for my sons visit. This is when it's nice to have my own living quarters as she won't have to concern herself with playing hostess and we can just enjoy seeing one another. One of her sisters is with her as she's still on a walker with therapy 3 times a week. So happy to get to see her before I leave the state.

Have a few things to do before pulling out. Plan to drive on down to other loops and check them out before driving out. They have full hooks ups here for same fee I paid. If they have more trees then this loop might check in here for a stay and request a site way down in back area.

Have a good day and whatever you plan Please stay safe,
CArol

Good morning gals! :D

Didn't sleep much the night before so I took an Advil PM and went to bed early last night and slept in til 10am today. Needed that! My left arm and shoulder are sore now because I have been using that more to compensate for my right shoulder. My right arm has more movement now without any pain so is healing nicely.

Took my dad to church yesterday and then to my brothers house for Easter dinner. That went well (much better than Thanksgiving and Christmas went! ).

Last week my other brother sent my dad a letter telling him how much he has screwed up his life and ours and he is giving us (me and him) a nervous breakdown because of it. It was not a nice letter and upset my dad a lot. That brother who's wife has done the same thing with letters, phone calls and visits to ream my dad out about what a rotten person he is. I think that is just SO wrong and very abusive to my dad. He is almost 90 years old with dementia. What is the point of doing that now? Nothing good comes from that. Makes me so mad, and then he pulls me into the letter too.

Anyways, have lots of things to do around here this week. Don't go back to work until next Sunday! No spending any money for me! Will be tight just paying my rent next week.

Hope you all have a good day and safe travels to those on the road.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

At San Diego Zoo. Was told RVs were not allowed in parking lot on phone other day but decided to try it. Huge empty lot and four other RVs so I parked way at end and in place at end so I could get in if pinned in by other cars. No signs saying no RVs so I should be good. Glad I did not come here yesterday with Easter crowds because very nice today.

Lyn took me on fantastic San Diego tour yesterday!!! She really knows this city. I am thinking of companies my back next year for at least a week. Lots of things to see and fantastic Sweetwater Regional Campground on top of hill with views.

I brought my son for his colonoscopy today. We were there 4 hours. It doesn't seem like it takes that long when I go but I guess I'm out of it most of the time. lol I didn't eat breakfast and got a headache. The later it got the worse my head hurt. I did the same thing yesterday coming back from my campout. I kept thinking I would get something to eat at the next town but never did stop. The theme for the campout was St Patricks Day. I showed my son pictures of the campout and the women in green attire. He said we looked like a bunch of geriatric leprechauns. I'm going to quit sharing with him.

It's a good thing I made him go for the colonoscopy. They removed 5 polyps, 2 were pretty big. They said they look benign but will sent them off. The paper work recommended that if he has any children that they be tested at 26.

We have storms coming again Wednesday and Thursday. There could be severe weather all the way to Iowa. I'm about tired of this. It rained off and on all the way home yesterday. Get ready Sarah, it will probably be to you by Friday.

I quit sharing with my sons a long time ago! Decided that there was just some stuff they wouldn't understand or care to know about, so better that I not tell them!
