Good Music RVing,

Set the date up there so you can start your week off right. Wet morning to start off with here and a bit cool, but it will help melt what remains of the snow.

I have some astonishing news to share with you this morning, but make sure you are sitting down first. I didn't do anything yesterday! No, I am not sick, no I didn't hurt myself. Just decided to have a lazy day. Went to mass and then the dogs and I took a nice afternoon walk, ran into a few people and stopped to talk etc. No cleaning, no painting, no........
So today, it's back to business.

Barbie, I think you made the right move by rehoming Sophie. Sometimes things just don't work out and if the first pet isn't happy, shouldn't let them be miserable. Carolb, glad you checked in and are having fun. JudyJB, hope you get to feeling better. I had bad bouts with vertigo once and am on Sertraline. Have never had another bout since. Liz, you are having so much fun. Catherine, you sound happy and content out there in CA. Martha, hope the rain stops.

Well, time to move on here. Heading to town in a little while. Have a nice day everyone :)

The music is probably auto correct to the wrong word. These computers think they know it all.

We have sunshine again this morning but I see some dark sky in the distance. If I could find the remote I would see what the weather channel says.

Barbie, sorry you had to find another home for Sophie. Some days I don't know what I'm going to do with Frosty. Yesterday he got out when Harold was cooking on the back porch and didn't want to be caught. I headed him off when he was headed across the road. After I finally caught him and we got in the house the first thing he did was slap Stinky because he was mad.

The parish tractors are going along the road cutting the tree limbs with that mower thing on a long arm. The cats are freaked out because of all the noise. I need to find my limb cutters and prune the rose bushes. I'm a month behind on doing that.

Barbie, my sons have three times (twice for one son and once for another) gotten pairs of sibling kittens on the theory they will keep each other company and be playmates. Every single time, the cats have grown up to dislike each other! The one pair of Siamese did like to huddle together in front of the furnace grate, but that was about it. Even though cats were siblings, they had very different personalities and staked out their own territories in the house.

I can't remember the name of the TV show, but there was a program about the secret lives of cats where they took a small town in England and put tracers and some camera on cats that were let outdoors. They were able to trace their movements 24 hours a day and found that much of the time the cats were guarding territories and spending much of their time keeping other cats away. There was one cat who moved into a neighbor's house about 75% of the time. When they put a camera on this cat, it turned out that at night when she did come home, the owner's other two cats were not letting her sleep in comfortable places and were basically bullies. The owners had thought all three cats were getting along since this only happened at night! The house the cat preferred to stay at had no other cats, so she felt safer there.

One of my sons has an older female cat that is part of the original pair they had. (One passed away.) Then they went out and got two more kittens last year, and the male of the grown kittens, who is a very large cat, now stalks the older and smaller cat, so she is kept locked in my grandson's bedroom and has her own wet food and litter box. She had been spending the night outdoors even in the cold until they figured out why. She is 14 so too old to be outdoors all the time, obviously!

Vertigo is doing better today, so everything is slowly resolving. I am in Phoenix now at place getting MCD shades installed. Yippee!
