Good Morning, Good Morning,
Bit of spring fever here. Hit 50 yesterday wish it would stay, but alas it will be leaving. Snow/sleet on forecast, changing to rain later and then snow. Typical spring weather pattern.
The girls and I took a ride to Mackinaw City yesterday. Wanted to see if the vomiting episode Piper had coming home to her new home was just a nervous puppy reaction to dramatic change or car sickness. She did fine, so we are all set. Also wanted to go see the huge piles of ice along the shoreline of the straits. Being the lakes have not iced over this year, the high winds in the storms we have had, have caused what ice was there, to pile up against the shoreline. It's blue ice too. Quite a sight as it's over height of two story building in some places. A rare thing as straits are usually ice locked this time of year. Will post pics.
Anita, neat idea getting a higher windshield for the SS. Will be good for your big trip. I don't think you are crazy. Like Beth said, it's from those who thought you were cray to even go full timing. Those who think a women should be staying home and tending to a house and her mundane life. As to the catalog chewing, Piper is doing. No, I have no worries about anything else. It seems to be a novelty she does for just a short time in the morning. She spends most of her time chewing on her bones. The pile of catalogs she has are under my lamp table and heading to recycle anyway. She loves to drag out my boots and shoes too, but never chews them and I've noticed e that's getting old now too. Puppy has to explore her world and try things in order to gain confidence. We just steer them in the right direction.
O'Sharon, you sound like me with spring fever. Snow has been melting here too. My road is bare now except for a few small areas. But it will be awhile before we see bare ground. Going north yesterday, it was nice seeing patches though. North of the snowbelt.
Well, need to wash hair here and get dressed for mass in awhile. Have a nice day and stay safe.
