My friend crosses over

Postby retiredhappy » Sat Feb 27, 2016 10:15 am

I want to thank all of you that contributed to my friend Denita's dog rescue efforts. She really appreciated it so much. She wasn't a nonprofit, just a lady trying to save as many dogs from living in the streets as possible. She has been ill lately but we didn't think it was too serious. She passed away unexpectedly last Tuesday. At the time of her death she still had about ten dogs she was caring for including one that is paralyzed in the back end and uses a wheelchair. Fortunately her friends, family and other rescues stepped up within 24 hours to take her furbabies. She had become a good friend and I will miss her greatly as will all the dumped, unloved, uncared for dogs she was trying to rescue.

Sorry not only for your loss, but for the loss to the "lost dog" community at large. May her babies all find loving forever homes which will help her rest in peace.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Karen. Hugs and warm thoughts to you and all her family and friends. She was met by a lot of dogs at the Rainbow Bridge and will be joined in time by many, many more.

I'm so sorry to hear about Denita. What a shock! I am also thankful that others were willing to step in and continue her efforts with the remaining rescued dogs.
