Spring, Summer plans, thoughts etc.

We will be in Sarasota til March 8 when we are flying to Raleigh to pick up grandkids #3 and #4 to take them on an almost 3 week trip to Europe. To our surprise, they picked a Mediterranean cruise with 5 days in Barcelona. I'm sure tGM will be blogging then we are back in Sarasota for 12 days to get ready for our summer travels. Staying in state parks in FL for a while before heading north. Jello is the game plan but hopefully making it to Ontario, CA to see friends and then south and back to Sarasota for the winter. So this is the plan today carold

I also now have reservations at Mitchell State Park, Near Cadillac, MI for June 19-21 if any one is in MI.

Sorry, Sue, but I won't be in Michigan until late August or early September. I'm spending most of july with my California kids and then heading back to Ohio in time for my grandson's birthday on August 19.

I will be heading to Florida in early October, so not much time for anything this year. Maybe in 2017.

Still just able to do short camping trips . Have plans to meet with the MN State Parks camping group in central MN for a weekend in June. Want to do another weekend trip with same group up to Ely, MN (way up north) in August. Also, Linda (bikerchik) will be workamping in Wisconsin this summer, so will be going there for a few days to spend with her there. Would like to do the North Shore again but will have to see if I can fit that in and/or afford it. Probably also a mini campout in May at the county park a few miles north of me where I have stayed before. Very nice park on a big lake and in the woods.

How often do you get to Ely? I want to go back ... Can TT get into Woodenfrog CG? That would be boondocking? Can't recall hookups. I loved it ... Thought Bait and Bite was friendly and stayed in Virginia, MN, in order to register my kayak.

question How are are Western TTs different from Eastern ones?

Thanks ... My eyes are turning green with envy ... And I can refrain from opening Christmas presents, yet waiting to choose a TT is not as easy ... lol ... I want to be on the road!
