Good morning everyone... deja vu at HL last night another alert from my phone tornado watch.... called Carol..Soos..left message for Nan...Carol called Sarah ...did not have Brenda # or Patsey... but luckily it stay to watch and not a warning did not have to make a mad dash to the bathhouse.... really been great weather here we have had potlucks every night and campfires every night but last night because of rain.... taking some walks and doing some yakking as usual... only one trip to town so far... maybe some thrifting today or tomorrow... I really wanted to keep up with my blog but it's really hard I will try better though maybe I can do one right ... thought I might do some crafting or sewing in my spare time lol... I did get a king Jack antenna put on George the RV tech did it Saturday ... well all for now have a good one...& B safe...donna

I thought of Brenda last night. I am visiting Lori and Doc up in Georgia and I have cable. I got to watch the judging of the first four groups of the WKC Dog Show last night. (Well I watched most of them....there might have been a short naps where I woke up to find the Toy Group entering the ring having missed the group placing of the previous group. ) You know where I will be parked tonight. Hope you get to watch your Terriers.

Good morning all! I was surprised that there were no posts yet this morning. Everyone sleeping in? After I looked out the window I thought about going back to bed and pulling the covers over my head! It's a mess out there, started with snow last night and now it's mushy ice! Temps are going up and it's raining. Schools started with 2 hour delays last night but now see that they've closed. I'll need to get out there at some point to try to get some of it off the sidewalk and driveway before it freezes again. Ah, the price of living in the north! Hope everyone in FL are okay, see they are getting some bad stuff too.

I had a nice dinner with my oldest son and family on Sunday. He made a big pot of chicken soup so got to bring some home! It'll be good for dinner tonight! Young son called later Sunday night and said since "they" say to check on the elderly and sick he thought he should check on me! Who's he calling elderly? Such a funny guy!

I haven't gotten much done the last several days, been kinda a slug! I did finally take on the leaky faucet yesterday and with some help from the good people at the hardware store I got it fixed! Ah, the things I'm learning! Need to vacuum today and see if I can create another dog! They are really shedding. Are they getting rid of the winter coats and spring is coming soon, I wonder! Anyway, time to get to it. Coffee is done so no excuse! Hope everyone is having fun wherever you are. Take care and be safe!

Good morning
Back to work Tuesday after an incredible great 3 day weekend. But spring break is right around the corner and,,,(drum roll),,,,,,,,I'm taking an extra week off as a trip has been planned to Texas for the family to meet me. I'm so excited, and hoping for great weather! Y'all have a great day and be safe.

Not morning any more, but that's OK because I've been a busy bee. I'm doing yard work! Can you believe that I am doing yard work? I'm allergic to all forms of manual labor, but I am actually raking leaves and digging up unwanted plants and moving rocks around. Ha! What a hoot! It's about 80F, but for some reason winter 80F isn't as hot as spring or summer 80F. Is that because the sun is lower in the sky (I made that up) or something like that? It seems that 80F would be 80F all the time. No matter. I've been doing yard work and I'm so proud of myself! On to more serious stuff. I continue to pretend that my anti-allergy tactics are helping Matty. So far I'm changing his diet to completely grain free, bathing him twice a week with a hypo-allergenic, soothing shampoo I get from the vet, giving him allergy meds, keeping him inside most of the time and watching him like a hawk. The vet gave me no new info yesterday except to say that at 8 lbs. Matty is too small to take the recommended dose of the allergy meds. The lesser dose he's on will help with itching but not block the reaction all together. So. my beautiful little boy continues to lose his hair and sport bright pink skin. The good news is he eats well and plays more than he did before the meds, although he's not as active as he was right after we went to visit Birdie. I'm thinking that means it's a something in the outside environment. It probably is, this is the worst place for winter allergies: cedar, pecan, oak, mold, pollution, etc. I'm dosed to the eyeballs. Enough rambling.
