Good Monday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Monday Morning

Postby Colliemom » Mon Feb 15, 2016 7:00 am

Good Morning everyone,

Monday again. Another work week for those who are working. Rest of us, well, guess it's left up to interpretation. Day 4 of doggie recuperation. Yesterday was kind of low key, today, well, we shall see. Right now Miss Piper is happily chewing on her box. It's taking her a long time to rip this one up.

Hope you had a nice Valentine's Day. I ate a little chocolate cake torte. My sweet for the day. Back in the diet his morning. Plan to finish putting pictures on the scrapbook pages today. Then need to get some stickers etc. to dress up the pages and a scrapbook to put them in.

So hope you all have a nice day today, keep warm if in the cold out east and know that won't last long. Have a great time at Hardee Lakes too, gals.

Happy Monday to all!
Glad to hear Piper is recovering well. Hopefully only a few short hours until I am hugging my Valentine! Have already gotten a message from the airline that I should change my plans if possible. Ugh. All weekend I have been daydreaming about where I would be had I decided to drive down...talking with Mom about our imaginary trip. Next time :)
Had a fun evening last night - my neighbors called me and asked if I could finish cooking their turkey - their oven broke at some point during cooking. So I pop it in the oven - it was in a disposable pan (too small) on a tiny cookie sheet. But since it was already partially cooked and wrapped up tight I didn't put it in my roaster. Big mistake! In no time at all....overflowing the pan, grease splatter escaping, smoked up the house, smoke detectors going off and Mr. Dingo frantically trying to climb up my body in fear of the noise and smoke. Maybe it will smell better in the house when I get home!
Happy travels to those on the road and a wonderful day to all of you!

Good morning Sue, Kelly and all who follow.
It's been a great two weeks here in McIntosh. Time to move on.
Just waiting for it to warm up a little before dumping tanks one more time then off to Hardee Lakes.
Have a great day everyone and safe travels to all.

Good morning Sue, Kelly, Brenda and all who follow. You're so patient, Sue. Sounds like Piper is doing well. Kelly, I think you're saying you have a flight to catch? I'm not sure. Whatever it is, travel safe and avoid turkeys. Where ever you're off to Brenda, travel safe. Matty, my little dog, goes back to the vet this morning after two weeks on allergy meds. He has more energy, and his appetite is OK, but he's lost a lot more hair and looks pretty awful. Good thing he isn't vain, and I love him bald spots and all. I just hope he isn't in pain. Nothing else out of the ordinary going on today. It's going to be another warm one.

Safe travels to all.

Sarah, thanks for the pictures. Looks like you all are eating good. lol I hope the weather we are having today isn't headed for Florida. We are under a tornado watch today. It is very windy and raining off and on. One of the local stations was saying something about it hailing Northwest of here. I think all of this is moving off to the Northeast. Once all this passes we are suppose to have 70's for the rest of the week. That will be nice.

Not much going on here. I was going to go see about a permit at the court house but figured those offices would be closed today.

Not much new here either. Weather is fine, cloudy with some sun breaks and a rain shower or two occasionally. I will take it. Continuing my saga of cleaning out the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen. Dinner in the NuWave, Meatloaf, yam, potato. I am starting to really like this darn thing.

Had to take my car back to the auto body shop this morning as I gave a ride to one of my neighbors and she couldn't get out of the car ha ha the handle did not work, so they took the door panel off and hooked up a cable and I am good to go. So easy fix.

Enjoying the pics of the GTG, looks like fun. Watching Liz walk her way everywhere in Arizona LOL I would be D E A D. I walk the dog every morning that counts for something, so says my FitBit.
