What a fabulous day it was yesterday and more today and over the weekend. Seems my life has truly changed and I'm so looking forward to the adventures in store for me in the near future. Good Morning all,
I have been having a great visit here in McIntosh. Last week with both Sarah and Tina and this week with Tina. I haven't been posting much, I have been very busy and the internet service here is underwhelming to say the least. I will be getting a Verizon jetpack for Hardee Lakes next week. It has been very cool here, downright cold at night. I am hoping to get out once more for kayaking today or tomorrow when it warms up. I will meet up with those at Hatrdee Lakes on Monday afternoon, you'll hear me arriving with the loud diesel truck pulling the 5er. Safe travels to those on the road.

Good morning Ava, Brenda and all who follow. I'm not awake enough to think ahead, so the rest of the day is up for grabs. The weather here is perfect Texas winter, cool mornings and evenings, warmer afternoons, coldish nights. I'm guessing the nights are in the 40s. Supposed to get up to 80F today. Olive is barking so I better bring her in. Ava you sound so happy! Brenda, I envy your time with Tina. I haven't met you or Sarah, yet. Bet I'd envy Tina her time with both of you.

Everybody travel safe. I'm going to travel to the kitchen without falling down the stairs.

Good morning all! Been up and outside already. There's a light snow out there and it's cold! I didn't realize how cold I was until I came in and needed to thaw out my hands and face. And I was bundled up! Apparently the worst is yet to come in the next few days. But it felt good to be out doing something physical!

Alice, you sound so happy and counting down year too! Barbie, I laughed about your t-shirt the other day! My feeling exactly! Nice that Beth and the gals have been able to spend some time together having fun! I probably wouldn't have been able to move since it's been years since I've been on a horse!

That's about it for me today. Nothing exciting happening! Guess that's probably a good thing right now! Hope everyone has a good day and stay safe and healthy. And warm too!

Good morning ladies!

I caught the morning by one minute! LOL!

Alice, I wanted to tell you that I'm so happy that you're happy! You deserve it.

We're back from the gym and we're waiting from a call from an insurance agent to see if they will cover the cost of the new windshield for our car. The wind was blowing a gale about a month ago while we were in church and a branch came down and went through our windshield. Our MD coverage didn't cover the cost as our deductible was more than the cost of the windshield. The church has offered to try to cover the cost through their liability insurance, but since the tree the branch fell off from isn't dead, the agent isn't sure if their insurance will cover it or not. It doesn't matter, but I thought it was nice of the church council to make the offer.

My sister and her hubby, who live in Daytona Beach, are coming tomorrow for a visit. I'm preparing appetizers for their visit and get the laundry caught up. So I better get off here and do exactly that. Have a good day everyone!

Good Morning!

I was awake during the night for awhile and then slept until nearly 10!!

Ava, I'm so happy for you! Enjoy seeing so many of our sistahs getting together! Brenda, laughing about the loud diesel - been there, done that. With the new truck a couple years ago, when I drove to my daughter's and rang the doorbell, she told me she didn't hear me coming!

Great progress was made in cleaning out the storage unit yesterday! Decided it was easier to bring containers back here to sort so made a couple of trips. Today will be organizing what I need to keep in here (not a lot). Have a couple boxes ready to mail to daughter in Washington. Will do more next week and should be able to finish.

Well, I think I have to let out a little secret--Alice is sooooo happy, I don't think she realizes she should have a hang over this morning Or I'm just getting wimpy in my old age--but it was truly a pleasure to help her celebrate her bday!

Sounds like y'all are doing well. Will keep your Piper in my thoughts tomorrow, Sue. Just not fun to have them going off to the vet for an overnight, no matter what the issue.

I've been pulling weeds for most of the past few days. I just love being in the dirt! Start each morning with an hour at the dog park--dogs get to do their thing while I get in a good walk:) Weather has been absolutely gorgeous in AZ. Heading off to CA next week. Lyn, will contact you!

YES! Carol, please do! I need a "Forum friends" visit. Wish I were able to. Go to ALL the GTG's. With the sore knees I read a lot. I have been doing the water exercises each day. Our weather has been glorious!
