After my experience I highly suggest any of those doing the Grand Canyon trip with you get some horse time in. I'm ok, but would not have wanted to ride again today, or probably tomorrow either. Riding takes different muscles. That said, I'm glad I talked myself into going.

What a neat ride looking at the rocks. Looks like you had a beautiful day too. I'm sure I'd be sore also even though I road horses daily for years. My only hope would be that the muscle memory would automatically kick in.
