warmer Tues.....

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Snowy Tuesday

Good Morning,

Irma, so wonderful to see you post yesterday. Think about you as well as others who are probably out there, but not chiming in ocassionally. Glad you and Steve are doing well, enjoying life as you say, and congrats on the weight loss. I'm sitting on the edge of losing pound number 25 my self, but have been stuck getting to it and beyond. Neighbor in same boat. Ash Wednesday is tomorrow, so begins Lent and I will crack down over the next 40 days. Karen, you mentioned not using your Forman grill. I use mine all the time and rarely use the stove. I need a new toaster oven as I hate firing up my oven for one little chicken breast or something.

Was thinking of going down to a bakery in Grayling this morning for a Packzi, but mom nature is doing a bit of a snow dance out here. Although it's light. Gas is also about 20 cents a gallon cheaper down there too, so may go later. Otherwise am staying home and doing scrapbook. Cold, wind and snow for next few days, but not complaining as we haven't had much really cold weather this winter.

Test results came back for Molly and she tested positive in the high titter for Lyme's, so will be going on antibiotic treatment for 30 days, soon as meds get here. Then a retest in 6 months. Piper goes to hospital in Thursday. Right now both are playing with same bone. Have to say, that although I kind of had to strain the budget a bit buying Piper, she and Molly have brought so much joy in my life just watching them interact with each other. They are indeed a match made in heaven.

I'm glad to see that all's well with everyone it seems and at the moment, no big issues out here. Spring is coming and maybe some GTG's will happen, new friendships made, old ones renewed, retirements happening, S&B's sold and maybe bought or full timing happening. I foresee a good year ahead for everyone. Have a wonderful day all.

Good Morning Everyone !! Chilly here but warmer weather coming, so shouldn't be to bad for our next GTG down here, low 70's predicted, of course, as we know that can change  Sun is coming out really pretty.

No news from here, enjoying visiting with my sister but will leave Thursday and head south. And then not sure, just floating along  Need to go back up to Ocala area, when it warms a wee bit ;) Rv needs to see dr up there for a couple of things that need fixing. Also it gets a good wash and wax there, which is a must. They do such a good job that water is still beading off my rig when it rains, from job done last year.

Breakfast is almost ready here, just wanted to wish everyone a great day. Weather isn't to good some places but do what you have to , to enjoy your day. Irmi, so nice to see you posting again, I will see you sometime while up there getting rv fixed. I will be here a bit longer this year. Sue, so sorry to hear Molly has Lymes, hope meds get her over it and all will be well. Feel bad for Piper, poor baby. :(

Enjoy your day Everyone, stay safe, Please,
CArol

Still in bed but have to get up soon to navigate out of driveway and head south. Did some slight scraping coming in so need son's help getting out ok. Things looked stable in retina at eye doctor appointment yesterday but am getting another check in late June. In meantime I can head off on travels which is very good.

Getting hot out here in California but more rain coming in week or so. Everything is green and lakes are rising. Will take a long time to recover but check photos on my blog about lake at one campground I like here--compare two years ago to last week. Still only 20% at Hensley Lake but at least it looks like a real lake instead of a mud puddle!!

A tiny bit of snow here, too -- but yesterday the birds were chirping! It was really good to hear them. Hoping for more in a few days! Birdsong, that is -- not snow. ;)

Hello to all - snowing in NC just like home! But sure is pretty - won't last long. Supposed to be a cool week here, hopefully it will warm up next week. Planning on going to Niceville next Monday or Tuesday for a few days, then on way back home. Stopping near Nashville to visit friends and then on to Daniel Boone National Forest, has anyone been there?

Have a nice day all and safe travels.

Good Morning from Salome, AZ

Liz and I went our separate ways yesterday. What a joy to travel with her - I've been wanting to follow her around for a few years now. I know how much we love following her blog and the places she finds. So many great hikes along with sightseeing, music, quilts, food, etc. Unfortunately, she had to put up with the drama in my life - things gone wrong but getting them worked out.

I had planned to meet Carolb in Quartzsite this week, but having the SS and the trailer worked on instead. Hopefully, next month. For now I will clean and empty out the storage unit. That will wait a day or so as I pulled something in my back yesterday. Also want to start walking in the desert. I enjoyed doing that with Liz when she was here.

Seems so many of your furry kids are having health issues! Hoping they all get better.

It is so nice to have warmer weather! Actually had to get the fan out yesterday after I arrived here.

Make the most of your day whatever you are doing!

Good morning to all. In a few minutes taking Olive to vet for annual check up and shots. Quick errands afterward and then the rest of the day in front of me. Not sure how I'll spend it. Sue, I'm with you: wonderful times ahead. Glad I'm not in snow country, but would like to teleport in for a quick look see. I like snow when it's on the other side of the window. No, not entirely true. I like to be in it for about 15 minutes. Then I'm done and it can all go away thank you very much. I suppose the weather here will be the same as last couple days: crisp mornings, warmer afternoons and evenings, cold nights. All measurements are in Texas standard units. Cold = tropical in Michigan.

Tails up! Have a wonderful day.

Good morning all! Snowing here too! But right now temps are high enough that it isn't sticking, least not to the sidewalk and driveway! It's been going between snow flakes and snizzle! Sue, sorry to hear about Molly but hope meds help her. And Donna, got those papers signed and sent out, one step closer!!! So much going on with everyone! Lots of adventures to hear about. And poor Lola just sitting there, all covered up! :( Someday maybe I'll be able to do some winter travel!

Finally did my running around yesterday. Was going to do it Sunday but just didn't want to fight the traffic and people! It was much easier to wait for a week day! Plus as my DS says, it was a I don't wanna day! I'm realizing that old habits die hard, after years of needing to do things on some type of schedule, now I don't really have to but feel guilty if I'm not busy doing something! It's okay to read all day if I want! Still having a bit of a problem with that!!

Well, with that I do need to get to a couple of things done today! Got the stuff to fix the faucet so (deep breath!) think I'll try to get that fixed! The guy at Lowes made it sound so easy, wonder what he didn't tell me!! Hope everyone has a good day and be warm and safe!

Oh, man! Just lost my first post! Never had that happen before... Crap!

As I was saying  ... It is sunny but very windy and cold, 8 degrees with a -10 below wind chill! . So ready for spring! Hope this is the last cold blast for us! Even with the cold weather, several cars and trucks went thru the ice last weekend. One was a truck trying to drive thru a channel, and the others were about 15 cars and trucks parked all next to each other and the ice gave way under all that combined weight. Like comedian Bill Engvall says "here's your sign!".

Feeling very melancholy lately. No energy or motivation. Am way behind on getting things done around here. Haven't even got started at the fitness center. Altho, yesterday I was on a split shift working from 8 to noon, then picked up my dad and drove him around all over, had lunch, gave him a haircut, had to drive back to the restaurant to get his cane he left there, dropped that off and got home just in time to head back to work til 9. So I guess I deserved to sleep in this morning before heading back to work this afternoon!
(OSharon, I have a t-shirt that has a cat on it and says "Don't wanna, don't havta, ain't gonna!" )

Planning to go to the Camping & RV Show in Mpls on Thursday. I am hoping to get my first "senior" discount. It is half price for those "55+. (I assume that means "55 and over", not "over 55").

Hope you all have a great day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
