Another late check in tonight
Made it to McIntosh, FL just barely in time to get set up as the last light was fading. Thankful the days are a tiny bit longer. I had trouble getting to sleep, then over slept a little this morning thus getting a later than desired start. Todays distance was also a bit further than I normally like to go in a day. Weather was fine but two areas of construction cost me about an hour. Major one around Dothan the other was on I-75. Most of todays travel was on Interstates and that did help to make better time but sure sucked up the gas driving faster. On gas, filled up between Montgomery and Ozark late yesterday for $1.51/gal. Today near Live Oak, FL it was $1.78/gal - big jump and that was at Wal-Mart.

The only TV channels I can get here tonight are CW out of Gainsville and ABC that comes and goes. Think I'm about half way between Gainsville and Ocala - thought I might get something from Ocala but no luck. Hate that as the only network I really want is CBS.

The lovely little town of McIntosh is so small they do not have any door to door mail delivery, only a tiny post office where everyone gets a box. If you stay at this campground (the only one in the area) for 30 days or longer, you get a PO box too. Thought that was an interesting approach.

Looks like the storms that will hit many of you on Tuesday will arrive here Wed. and Thurs. In addition to the rain/storms there will be a big temperature drop - about 20 degrees - but still warmer than home. Monday and Tuesday looking great with low 80s for highs and 60s for lows - my favorite kind of weather.

Since I'll be off the road for about a week, will try to catch up with things here over next few days.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!
