It's Friday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Friday!

Postby Colliemom » Fri Jan 29, 2016 6:15 am

Good Morning,

Only 3 posts yesterday? Guess you all must be busy or else it's that time of year, too much same old, same old.

Getting to be about same old here too. More snow and snow blowing. Nothing big, just 3 inches here, couple inches there. But keeps me busy. We had about 3-4 inches on Monday/Tuesday, so hauled out the blowers on Wednesday, did all three drives, ran errands in town, had lunch out, came home, took our walk, then hauled blower out again to clean up what county plowed back in. Yesterday, raked some more snow off roof, blew it my drive, took our walk and worked on scrapbook. Today am taking Miss Molly to groomer for spa day, then running some errands and hauling out the blower again. Life in the north country snow belt. And now they are saying another big storm next week

Enjoying Liz's pictures from AZ, looks like good weather out there. Martha, glad you are enjoying a bit of camping with a few ther things in between. Judy, you may Stiil be snoozing when I am up and going, but gee, if you are waking up in middle of the night, you could start some coffee

Guess it's time to move along here. Hope you all have a great day out there. :)

Good morning, snow is flying again this morning! Not much out there but enough that I'll have to shovel it later. I'm with you, Judi, I'd rather sleep in! But since I have the grandson today I was up early! I have to drive into State College to pick him up at his dad's office n a little while. I have a chiropractic appointment this morning so he'll have to go with me, then I'll probably take him to McDonalds for lunch. Don't know what else we'll do but we'll think of something! Sue, sounds like you've had a busy few days of snowblowing. Don't know about you but I'm about over this stuff! I know, I know, it could be worst! Donna, I'm complaining about snow and you gals in FL are dealing with lots of rain! So much for Sunshine state! But at least it's warmer! Ok, enough grumbling about the weather! Think spring plans!!

Gotta get moving and go out and clean off the car, I left it out last night instead of parking in the garage, dumb move! So I'll just wish you all a good day. Have a fun day and stay safe!

Gmorning all :)

Wow, yesterday was really quiet here! Hope everyone is doing well:)

I'm back at Q, left camp driveway yesterday. Tigg's ultrasound showed his heart better than expected, & blood test showed his kidneys tolerating the current heart med. So he's off the lasix, still on the "affordable" heart med, & has a narcotic cough syrup for "as needed." Will keep him on benadryl for allergies, especially when we're out here in the dusty desert. All good news!

Donna, sorry to hear about dad. And I'm one of the voices saying Phee is reacting to your stress :( Hope you have a relaxing day at Wickham:) Will be good for both of you!

Plan B in motion. Not going to meet Anita & Liz this time in Organ Pipe--I'm needed in Mesa this week. Looks like I'll meet Peg in OP later this month, then get out to San Deigo & visit friends/family up the CA coast. If you're reading this, Lyn & Catherine, I'm hoping to see the both of you:)

Okay, that's it from me. Y'all have a great day & be safe always 8-)

You're back, you're back! I thought the zombies got you. A quiet MC messes with my head. Did any of you worry about whether the email worked when you first started using it? Remember that anxiety? Did it get sent? Did they get it? Are they ignoring me? What did I do wrong? ....  I thought maybe the forum was broken or something equally unlikely.

Sue, I call Olive and Matty's grooming sessions spa days, too! Matty is so overdue; he goes on Tuesday. Today is dog laundry day...maybe. I finally have to go grocery shopping. I really hate grocery shopping. If I can dream about shoveling out stalls, I can fake shovel snow, too. I hope all of you in the north appreciate my help.  I could rake leaves for real, but if I leave them alone they disintegrate by April. That's been scientifically proven.

Donna, I'm sorry to hear about your dad, but at least the technology is available now days. I have friends who love their pacemakers. Hope the process goes well for you.

Carolb, so glad Tigg is doing better.

O'Sharon, have fun with grandson.

Another week gone. We're traveling at warp speed, so stay safe and tail up.

Mornin'
Quick post; running late because I couldn't sleep again last night. Sue, if it wouldn't wake up DH, I would get up and turn on the computer and post a "midnight mc".
Appointment with dermatologist went ok; she froze a suspicious patch on my right shoulder and took a biopsy of the sore on my ear, what a weird place for a skin cancer but it is what it is. She said she's pretty sure it's another BC (yippee! my 4th) but we have to wait for biopsy results to make sure. I think maybe I should give more thought to finding an inside job.
Got up pretty late so I'll run now, have MIL"s house to clean this morning.
Everyone take care,
Kathy

Good morning Everybody from beautiful, sunny and warm Kino Bay, Sonora, Mexico.
Sue and OSharon, I don't know if you saw my comment awhile back that I'll come to PA to meet up with Sue and of course you too, Sharon. Lori and Doc summer near Gettysburg, so them too.
Carolb, looking forward to seeing you in OP. It's supposed to be a beautiful park. Bring Donna with you. She sounded a little hesitant.
Liz and Anita, looking forward to reading about your hikes and sightseeing adventures in OP.
Enjoy today

Kathy - ear is not a weird place at all. Dad had some cancer removed from his ear. I laugh because he looks like Mike Tyson got him.

Good Morning from soggy Oregon.....sigh. Teased us with a couple of sunny days at 59 degrees now saying possible snow this weekend. I know we need the rain but sheesh how bout spacing it out. Snow pack will be welcomed as we sure don't want all the fires again this summer.

I will just busy myself with more purging. I am still trying to be a minimalist and have decided I suck at it. "Oh I might need that", yeah right haven't needed it in 5 years probably won't need it now LOL

Have a road trip coming up the end of February, just going to Reno for the weekend. Will be nice to just get out of town for a bit and I love the journey even more than the destination but have some things to check out in Reno. Laura and I are going so it will be fun for sure.

Need to go to the Salvation Army with a few bags of clothes and shoes and couple of boxes of books. I have everything on my Tablet so tired of dusting them.

Anyone coming to Oregon or passing thru this year give a holler as I will be hanging around Oregon this year doing some camping and just being home.

Actually, I was about ready to post yesterday, but my company arrived early. Old friends are renting a condo in Las Vegas, and came to see me in Willow Beach. We rented a pontoon boat and putted up the Colorado River. It was a perfect, sunny day with no wind, just right for seeing Black Canyon. You can rent a boat for as little as two hours and it really was worth it. Just a great, slow trip up river for a couple miles and then back to marina.

Posted some photos on my blog, if you are interested. Wish we could have gone farther, but friends were a little hesitant to go very fast. Nice anyway.

Today I have work to do on my course, and then need to count out pills for a couple of weeks, and see if the new sandpapers I got will tackle the rust on my driver's step so I can repaint it.
