Chilly Thursday (again!)

good morning all...it has been raining for the last 3 days...so not much going on...took dad to the cardio doc yesterday...he is having pace maker changed 2morro...so that shoots that day...I think on sat I will take the rig ...pheebe and me to wickham park for a day trip...as long as we are having nasty weather I made a blog post this am about our tornado/pj party if you want to take a look...have a good one & B safe...donna

Good morning everyone! Guess everyone is sleeping in this morning again! All of 28 here this morning, it's enough to make one want to stay warm under the covers! TWC keeps saying cloudy skies with snow flurries, I'm getting bored of hearing that almost everyday! Guess it'll make me enjoy spring more when it comes! Sounds like FL is having some bad weather, hope you are all safe.

Donna, I have to agree with everyone that Pheebe is picking up on your anxiety level. It'll be interesting to see what happens when you go away from it all again. When we had to have help for my mom we told her the gal was a good friend of mine that was going to visit with her sometimes. It worked for us.

Took a day yesterday and had lunch with SIL at out favorite Mexican place and then browsed through a couple of stores we like. We had a good time just being out and about. Son called this morning and said youngest son doesn't have school tomorrow and could I keep him for the day so guess I get to amuse the little guy for the day. We'll figure out something to do. H-m-m, wonder if he's up for another "adventure" with me! Probably not! Too soon after the last one!

Not much going to happen here today. Just putter around the house and try to get a couple of chores done. Have a good day and stay warm and safe.

Good morning O'Sharon and all who follow. Hope you have a good day with your grandson. Today will be another lazy day at home, don't even want to get dressed. I'll probably stay in my jammies, read and drink tea all day. Maybe a few episodes of Nurse Jackie. Should go to the grocery, I suppose. Nah, I have stuff in the freezer. Yep, it's gonna be a very lazy day. Sometimes retirement is just too good. Donna, I agree with the "sensitive dog" theory. The only solution is a couple glasses of wine. You feel better, Pheebe feels better. It's all good. (The wine is for you, not Pheebe.)
