in regards to the water and people hooking up and not unhooking....when we started to camp host we were warned
that this would be a problem in our campground (it wasn't) but is strictly a no no...due to the possibility of back washing
yes fill up un hook and go to campsite or carry a long long hose but don't stay hooked up..
and I to carry drinking water never have used the faucet for me

Michigan State Parks do not have water hook ups either, but water is available at the dumps stations with hoses attached to fill your tanks. There are also water spigots in the campgrounds but no hose hooking allowed at those.

I'm not sure if I was the one who told you about the zip or not Mitch. I'm not sure what the head cameras are called but when I googled it I found a site called Gajitz. They had a brain-wave controlled camera that senses when you check out something, if it detects 60% interest it records. Now that would be interesting

Thanks for the water info ladies. Bought a filter today, so I'm good for dishes and the loo.

Mitch I have a Go Pro. The case(s) don't let any sound through which is why I only have video of my trailer orientation, but it does take good, shake free videos. When I went on the zip here, I just brought my regular camera and the other people I went with just used their phone. I asked around if they had cases that had slots so the microphone would capture sounds, and the response was the cases are waterproof, so no, and to maybe check Ebay for a cheap one that I could drill a hole thru. Not worth the aggravation to me, and maybe they've come up with new cases in the year or so since I last looked. Just some things to think about. I added the GoPro to my camping list so I'll bring it. You can use and save the $$$ if you want, but I don't have the head or other things you can attach it to.

Give me a bit to think about it, maybe I'll join you on the zip.

I just looked at the calendar. May 21-28 is the same week as end of semester at CUNY!! How did I miss that before?

Anyway, I'll be in NYC that week. Why can't I be everywhere at once?
