Saturday Morning....Very Early!!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday Morning....Very Early!!

Good Morning all!!! Coffee timer is set; Diet Cokes in fridge; and sausage balls again. I know, you may be tired of sausage balls, but I love them!! Especially using sharp cheddar and hot sausage! By the time others wake up, I'm sure the table will be filling up and more goodies available!

My days are mixed up and it seems like it should be Sunday already. It's not though!! Busy at our house still going through our clutter, closets, etc. It's been slow but we're making headway. Yeah!!

Happy Saturday to all of you gals!

Sun is finally shining here too! We have horrible T'storms & tornadoes yesterday & last night. Today should be beautiful. I am meeting an internet friend from my dog forum at the park this morning then back home to do yard work. Life has started to slow down a bit after my extended holiday trip so I hope to catch up on all that is going on here!

good morning
the sun is just coming up and its supposed to rain today, lots of grey clouds out
there so think the weatherman could be right this time. Put in for a part time
job yesterday, and will put in for some more today, just have to get a little
additional income cause the budget is beginning to suffer and come summertime
my checks go down to half as much. I haven't had to do this in a long time but
sometimes its just necessary.
Coffee is good this morning and a little toast on the side hits the spot.
I got a little throat tickle going before I went to bed last night and its still there
today, so hope I'm not coming down with something. I haven't had a cold in years,
let alone strept throat but I have some stress going on so that could compromise
my immune system.
Have a good day ladies, hope you all have great weather.

Good morning everyone. I'm dragging my @$$ out of bed this morning ... I dreamt vividly and woke up tired. Isn't the brain supposed to REST?

I'm drinking yesterday's coffee ... thinking about making a waffle for breakfast this morning ... but I'll probably go for oatmeal. Such is the life of a (formerly) wild and crazy woman. We have beautiful bluebird skies this morning (45 degrees already) with a 70% chance of rain after noon. I need to break out my lawnmower.

I saw Monsters vs. Aliens in 3-D last night ... and Dreamworks still can't elicit the magic of the Pixar studios. I don't know ... maybe I was just a little cranky. I did like that it has a female champion ... that's good for little girls.

I did walk for more than an hour yesterday. I took my big little dog Bandit to PetSmart to have his nails clipped ... and when the groomer was done he gave me a coupon for a free clipping -- to use THAT DAY. So it was free. How often does THAT happen?

So have a terrific day, ladies. I plan to.

Morning everyone. Think I'll just have some coffee for now. Went to the neighbors for happy hour last night and stayed later than we normally do....stupid thing to do since I have so much I have to accomplish today. But it was so nice to finally be able to sit in their three season porch after the rotten weather that we've had plus a few extra people dropped in who were home for the holiday weekend that we hadn't seen in ages. Well my rugs are done washing and ready to hang on the line. Wishing all of you a joyous Easter.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Just a very quick check in this morning. We have widespread damage from yesterdays storms - hail, wind tornados, etc. While the damage is bad, there are no reports yet of injuries here. I haven't been out to check on other property yet. Most of that damage is probably from hail. More later.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!

GOOOOOOOOD EVENING SISTAHS!!!!!!!!!

Here me is on my own laptop. Yay!!! It's been over a week since I've been on mine. I did do the 2 small posts from Kelly's laptop tho.

I think I am about rested up but I'm still sleeping like a log. I go to bed, set my alarm for 8 1/2 hrs and still don't want to get up. Not to even mention that the room we are sleeping in is not heated. Brrrrr I had forgotten just how freaking cold sheets could be. Holy smokes. The bed warms up quickly but dang, until it does? {{{{{{{{Shivers}}}}}}} are the focus of my tiny world. We had only a few blankets that we kept out of storage, David gave us a couple to use thankfully.

We have decided to work another week. Arrrrrgh!!! Need the money so the devil is the driving factor. Still have not picked up a trailer. Gonna need a bigger one that I thought we would tho. Jeeze we got rid of so much stuff!!! And still have quite a bit left. When it comes time to load and go I am gonna have to take some time to go thru some stuff to see if there is anything else we can get rid of. I tried to use all banana boxes to pack with but ran out. So we had to use odd ball sized boxes. And Kelly has plastic totes, plastic drawer thing that ya stack and odd ball boxes so that might be adding to the over all look of bulk to our stuff. I did rent the 5x10 store room to get everything contained and we are not packed to the ceiling. But the size of the "stuff pile" seems huge. Possible one reason also that the pile seems huge is towards the end we were really tired and were not neat with putting stuff in the store room so it's a big jumble at the end at the door, probably the last 4 or 5' is a mess.

We are sitting at a store called "Books a Million". For those of you who are not familiar with the store it's like Borders or Barnes and Noble but the prices are a lot better. They have a small coffee counter in here and free wifi available. This just about the very first time we have both had the chance to get on line at the same time. I have so missed keeping up with all that my Sistahs have been doing.

Reading what Beth and Sparkle are doing I am in utter despair!!! I just know that Sparkle is take one look at my pitiful attempt to keep up with her and practice her Elvis look with that curled lip and leave me in the dust....Oh who am I trying to kid? Maybe myself. I can't even begin to attempt to keep up with Sparkle. ~sigh~ Does anyone know of a fat/fitness farm that motivates with cattle prods and whips???

Hopefully this Friday 04-17 will be our last day. We are looking forward to it. I will miss some of the people we work with tho. Have made one very good friend there. Her name is Lynn. We went to Golden Corral today for lunch. There were 5 of us all together. Kelly and I, Lynn and her husband Al and a young guy named Joe. Lynn got Kelly and I a going away gift, tea towel set with pot holders and a couple of candles. When it came time to leave the restaurant Lynn broke down crying. Then Kelly got tears in her eyes and so did I. I told Lynn she and Kelly were big mushes!!!(I didn't mention myself.) I think even Joe might have gotten a little watery eyed. And to tell ya the truth I didn't think it would bother him. It's hard sometimes.

Talking about leaving? I suppose we had better get a move on. I'm not sure what time we got here? 3:30 or 4:00pm but it's now 7pm and I guess we have been hanging here long enough. Time to get our butts home and let the dogs out. David is working a double and Jenny took off with her mom and heaven only knows when she will be home.

Until next time Sistahs, I hope ya'll have a great day. Have a Peaceful, Blessed Easter. And for sure remember to stay safe.

Love to all
