Running Genny Under a Load

Postby Azusateach » Sat Jan 02, 2016 11:02 pm

We need to exercise our generator. But it's too cold to run the AC. Would running the furnace give it enough of a load? Or will it be okay to just run it without a load this time be okay?

Thanks!

Like Liz, I use an electric heater in cold months. And sometimes use the microwave also. And you could vacuum. Or dry your hair.
