Yea, Carolb is coming. Hank doesn't get many visitors so he will be happy. If you have a camping friend in Baton Rouge tell her about the Louisiana Belles group. We are always looking for Louisiana women to join us. We have members from Texas and Mississippi too. Some of the campouts are close to Baton Rouge and in Mississippi.
Donna, if you can't get Pheebe's attention off cars with treats maybe try a water spray. Some of my friends that camp with dogs use a spray bottle and all they have to do most of the time is just pick up the bottle and the dogs stop barking.
I went out in my robe to put the trash out before the truck passes. I was complaining about it being cold and my son told me, well it is January. That kind of surprised me but he's right.
It's suppose to freeze Monday night but probably not this far South. But, I'll have to cover my "Carlie Brown orange tree".
Every morning it takes me a few minutes to figure out what day of the week it is. New Years's day seemed like a Sunday so I thought it should be Monday. I am really going to be confused this coming week.
Nicki, if it's raining where you are then I guess it's headed for us. It rained almost all day yesterday. The sun was out for about 5 minutes but it's gray again.
Kathy, you sound like my neighbor. Most holidays their yard is full of cars. I don't know how she feeds that many people. If I had 20 people here my DH would be else where.
I am kind of suspicious of some of these pet rescues. After reading about some of the hoops they want people to jump through and the end price most people would give up. Most would not let someone that full times in an RV adopt a dog because they don't have a fenced yard. Dogs that are adopted by RVer's couldn't ask for a better life. Making you take a training class is a bit much. When RV Sue was looking for a dog some of the shelters let the rescues have first choice before any one else and the rescues wanted a lot of money for a dog.
BJ, I didn't make it to Dillards either. My friend called to tell me what a mad house it was and I decided I didn't need to get involved in that. She said there were clothes all over the floor and it took forever to get a clerk to go get a pair of shoes to try on. People were parked out past the road that circles the mall. Too much for me.
