UPDATE Would like your opinion on what to do with RV

Hi- I have seen rvsues blog and she is definitely a free spirit and happy as a clam in her Casita. And she has great navigators in those little dogs. She also shares what it costs her every month which is helpful. She pretty much boondocks all of the time, so we have to take that into consideration. RV people are the most adventurous aren't they? I have the most trouble slowing my roll sometimes as i want to go now but am trying to be practical. You will get this figured out and when I have a question(and I will I hope that you are there to answer. Linda

Wanderer Linda, I'm glad to share what little I know. But if you've read many of my posts, you'll see that I can be a real special kind of stupid when it comes to RVing.

I have a realtor coming next week to look at the house. There's a lot of work to do before I can put it on the market if I want to go full time. So, it sounds like we're facing some of the same challenges. Let me know if I can be of any help.

I saw a post on my FB page where somebody who belongs to Women Who RV had a big leak issue with a travel trailer. Turned out the whole roof was rotting and needing replacement. Found a handy man service of some type that does that and had the whole thing redone. Looked great. You might check into that kind of thing too.

Thanks, everybody. It's great to have a cheering section. Don't use up all your enthusiasm because I'm just investigating the possibility more seriously than I ever thought I would. I'm very excited one minute and terrified the next. We'll see what happens.

Yea, for Nikki. Moving forward and dreaming. May not know where you will land but decisions need information and you are proceeding in that department. Our imaginations are wonderful tools unless they are not. As in what we "think" the road blocks are and how high they are and how hard they will be to surmount. But then..... we keep picking through the rubble of the road blocks of our "anticipated" troubles and discover that some are more illusion than actual fact and we can do it....step by step. What ever it is we want to do...

good for you Nikki. I'm confident you can do anything you set your mind to. Have you ever tried Flexseal? It comes in a can and is basically liquid rubber. When I turned metal burn firepit into a fountain I sealed some rusted spots with Flexseal and it held water for another year. Walmart carries it. I would use it on the roof.

Now, Nikki, I have to take exception to this statement. I seriously doubt you are a stupid woman Shall I tell you about the $200 down payment I lost on an older MH that the seller refused to refund? Now THAT was a stupid impulse.
