Good morning, everyone. Woke up to howling wind, torrential rain, and thunder. The storm that was supposed to be here on Xmas day finally arrived. Then I heard Olive bark and thought it sounded odd, too far away. Well, I locked her out last night. I think I'm just a wee bit preoccupied. Sheesh. It was warm and if she'd been uncomfortable, she would have barked like crazy, so I would have heard her. She was soaked and hungry when she came in, but no damage done. She's safe and has shelter in the backyard.
I hope all of you on the road are parked somewhere safe and dry. Sue, I didn't know about the tornado near Dallas until I read your post. I'll have to check the weather sites as soon as I log off here. I don't watch TV, so no weather channels to check.
Kathy, your life fascinates me. All those animals. I've never been around horses. Sue, I often wonder what it would be like to live where the winter is really cold. If the temp falls below 70F in Texas the women with big hair pull out their furs. First time I saw that, in the Houston airport, I about fell over. Now it's just normal Texas.
On January 1, Texas's open carry law goes into effect. I get to do my grocery shopping next to gun toting rednecks. Yeehaw! (That is not a political statement. It's tongue in cheek, my dry sense of humor. So please, no offended rednecks. I like rednecks.)
Liz and Anita, you posted while I was composing. Wow! Snow, anyone?
I'll have to read about what's going on with Magic. I think that's Sarah's rig. Right?
