Good afternoon. Hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday. We had dinner with Dave's mom, niece and niece's boyfriend. It was quiet but very nice. Stayed off the computer yesterday. It was a good break.

I have up on giving notice in person today and left a note on the manager's desk. Bet she'll be around tomorrow morning. Now, I know get Mom is sick, and that's a legitimate reason today, but she's hardly ever around.

One of my co-workers knocked on my door with a gigantic plate of chicken, dressing and veggies. Yum and how nice.

Peaches was sick last night. She found a bone on our walk yesterday and ate too much of it before I discovered it and took it away. By bedtime she was fine and arguing with me that she wanted more food. Wrong! All seems fine today.

The very cold temps are keeping a little of the snow/ice around.

Sadly right now it is beginning to look as if Magic may not be on high enough ground to be safe but the area is completely cut off except by boat. At this point don't even know for sure when I will be able to find out. Sitting here fighting tears as I watched the latest news report. More severe storms forecast for Monday.
