I don't have any plans from Jan.1 until I have to head go Lake Havasu for the Balloon Festival around Jan. 13. Any chance we may cross paths since I can go just about anywhere since I have no plans? I'm a great ranch hand and have had lots of horse experience plus multiple other ranch type critters. Willing to help you out.

Sandi, maybe I'll swing by if I manage to get through New Mexico! :) I don't have to be in Havasu until the 8th.

You three want to try to gtg overnight at the Petroglypgh campground outside Gila Bend maybe the 6th? I could try pushing it and spend two there, the 5th and 6th, if weather, etc are good? And anyone else? It's BLM, nice sites, no hookups, low charge. Or name some place else not too far from there?

Ava, I promise some time by you, even if it's after the job.

I could probably do Gila Bend also. I plan to spen a couple days in Benson visiting a friend I met in AK in 2009 and haven't seen since. She used to own a Roadhouse out on Petersville Road.

If you're still a member of Escapees, for first time visitors to the Escapees park in Benson it's only $50 for a week plus electric. Check their website to make sure the price hasn't changed, but you can't beat it. Or save that to come back and visit me. I'll only be 20 miles away.

Thanks for the info. I will save that for when I come back. Plan to stay at my friend's park (Pato Blanco Lakes...PA) while visiting her.
