Looking around Mazatlan

Postby asirimarco » Fri Dec 18, 2015 10:24 am

We are now in Mazatlan for at least a month. Meeting up with travel friends from Canada today. So there will be a lot of going places for a while.
I've posted a couple of blogs of just everyday things here and of our great RIB dinner the other night. With the favorable exchange rate for us prices have stayed about the same. Our rib dinner was only 15dollars.
I posted a picture of Bills dinner on the blog. Mine was the same.
Tonight were going out to the very old section of town to the plaza to listen to music and have dinner in an outdoor restaurant. 'There will be vendors, dining and dancing. And the weather should be perfect.
The blog are at http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com If you are curious about Mainland Mexico. It is a beautiful and exciting place.

All caught up with your blog again. I love that you were missed by so many. Must make you feel good. And you friend answered how to call the various toll free numbers from Mexico. I wouldn't have had a clue that each different number needs a different prefix.

We still have some left over ribs. Hard to imagine two whole dinners like that for $15.00
Sometimes this feels more like home than "home" does. So many truly caring friends here. Interesting about the 800 phone numbers - tomorrow I'm going to try the insurance company again. This year we have a "call anywhere in MX, Canada and US without roaming" Of course it costs extra  and this year we are having more problems with the phone then every. Go figure.
Yesterday we went to El Quelite - so much fun. Today with the humidity I think we'll pretty much hang around the RV. Going to put up my little tree.
Still trying to post the blog every day. Even if it is just strange things we see here.
