Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday and Wet

God Morning,

Carolb, are you sleeping in this morning? My furry alarm roused me out of bed as usual. Her chore for the morning. Has been out and now back to bed

Cloudy, warm, breezy and rainy here. Looks like decent weather for couple days coming though, then getting bit colder. So guess good day to clean fridge or maybe go visiting. Was dreaming a camping dream last night too.

Diet going well, down 17.5 pounds now

Hope all you gals in the PNW are okay with all the rains, flooding etc. The gals in TX seem to be having fun. Hope the rest of you enjoy the day, keep safe and dry and get you RVing Christmas letter written to Santa ;)

Good Morning to all. There is coffee on but that is about it. Today will be a travel day. We are hoping that the highway has been repaired some since last year. Will be going about 240 miles and staying in a secure truck stop with a good restaurant tonight. Don't know if our wifi will work or not. Then tomorrow on to Mazatlan where we'll settle for a while. Today will also be an expensive toll day. 800 Pesos - About US$45. Weather continues to be good. Warm but not too hot. And hopefully no wind.
Need to post today's blog then start readying for the road.

Good Morning Everyone !! Well, its moving day for me, and that's work, right? I came in late Sat. evening and office was closed so owner told me to park here, well they came around Sun. morn and told me that after getting paperwork from office this site is reserved for someone today and I will be farther back in park. Well, wifi may not be good, so may be last you hear from me for several days  So glad they came before I finished hooking up to water, sewer etc. Too tired to do more then elec. Sat.

Last night my Sis picked me up and we went just down the road to her RV park, where they have a site for their RV, and played bingo. I love playing, never win, well, hey I did last night, the last Jackpot, had to split 3 ways, but was still nice amount, will pay half my fee today for my site here. :D Maggie and I, checked the CG out and saw several vacant sites back where he indicated and two I refuse to park in, between these two are the power boxes and transformer for CG and I've been in Fl when they have their lightening storms, my house was hit one time, and the transformer at end of our drive blew one night, sounded like a bomb. So I won't set under that mess over there. Hoping she has some where else for me. Just have to wait and see, I did see lots of vacant sites back in there surely one of them I can have for another 5 days. Right??

Other then moving, my win and oh, Maggie has been on Dementia meds they have for doggies and she is much calmer and doesn't do her circles that much and loves walking right by me again. Seems at times to really know me too, I think maybe not at times, but still loving . She is healthy otherwise so we'll continue on.

Well, on with my day here, need luck to back into those small sites and I mean small,(narrow) and even with good eyesight now, I'm not great at it, manage but still learning, especially from passenger side, which these are, couldn't judge distance for such a long time, I am surprised at times I do as well as I do now, just need more practice, but sure not one of those really narrow sites over there   A lot of trees over there, so wondering about tv and wifi connections, we'll see later.

Have a great day all, Stay safe,
CArol :)

Good morning,

Just checking in to see what's up here. Rain has moved out of the area for now, supposed to be back on Wednesday.

Funny you should mention getting yourself Christmas presents, Carolb. DH and I went to Menard's (my fave store) last night so I could pick up some dog treats in canisters they had on sale. Plan is to give them to my dailies for Xmas gifts. I always buy for my clients' pups and some of the owners I give a little something to also. Well, in Menards, I happened to see a toaster oven that is also a rotisserie and convection oven too. Guess what I got for Christmas? Will be using it for supper tonight!

My poor Molly pup has a sore on her left elbow and sometimes it starts to bleed. She has a large callus there and I'm hoping this is just cracked, dry skin that is causing it. I finally had to bandage it up last night so she didn't get it all over everywhere. If it doesn't stop within a few days, I'll get her to the vets for a look over. It doesn't look like another mast cell to me.

Martha, the name of those hash browns is Hungry Jack. Look in the packaged potatoes aisle. They come in a small container like half and half.

The mice war continues. One of the guys just texted me that I caught one down at the shop. I asked if he minded disposing of it. He said, not if you don't mind paying Orkin rates. Ha ha ha!

Everyone take care,
Kathy

CArol, I know what you mean about transformers blowing up. We had lightening strike a transformer outside our bedroom one night. When I woke up I was standing up in the bed. It burned out the line for the oven and dryer. We are lucky it didn't fry everything electric in the house. Just take your time backing up and get out and look. I usually get out and and see where everything is when I start backing into a site. I have come close to those invisible trees and low rocks some campgrounds like to put along roads. My sister likes to play bingo but not me. When my son was in school the parents had to work the bingo fund raisers. People could smoke in there and when I would come home I would have to wash everything I had on and my hair. I had been trying to call my sister since Friday when she was suppose to get out of rehab. I found out yesterday that she had her daughter in law drive her to the junk auction on Friday and to bingo on Saturday. Guess I can quit worrying about her.

The rain has finally moved off to the East. It rained from yesterday afternoon until sometime during the night but our rain gauge only shows a little over a half inch. It must have been raining very lightly. It's sunny today and back into the 70's. The forecast says more rain for Wednesday.

I don't know what I'm going to do today if anything. It's tempting to go shopping with all the sales. I can't think of anything I need bad enough to go to the mall. I'm a bad Christmas shopper too. It's one present for you and two for me.

I'm back !!! :D I'm in my new site, way in the back, right where the transformer was is where they planned to stick me, sorry, can't do that, in our walk this morning, Maggie and I, found this corner one way in the back, no neighbors front or on one side, and seems others work so we're set. I had to level which was not fun in this Fl sun, was getting to me, so quit, its almost good, it will have to do. No problem backing in, hey maybe I'm getting better already, (I won't count on it :o ) I do have wifi, which after getting all set up is first thing I tried :D not sure how evenings will be when others here get home, but day use is ok with me.

Just wanted to let you all know, I will have wifi this week, time is almost out on my Ipad and don't want to go over on it, so having wifi is VERY GOOD !!!

Hope you all are enjoying a good day too. I have A/C on now and in a few I will be really ok too, got really tooo warm out there for me.

CArol :)

We have wild life down here, oh I am going to love this site, have a lake that once was and is coming back with all the rain. Laundry is a longs way up to office, so will have to suck it up and do one load at a time, early morning, not in this heat, for sure.
