No on whitening shampoo. She just had an unbelievable amount of dust and dirt in her coat. I take them to Petfood Express and use their washing facilities. Much easier than trying to do them at home.

You're right Diana. My plan was to try and do both on one token, but the wash basin we used was faulty and not putting out any shampoo. I spent so much time trying to find someone working there to get me some shampoo, there was no way to get them both done in time. I did insist they give me another token, so I actually only used one that I bought. Even if they didn't share time, we still did the job economically on one paid-for token and one from the store. :)

We were at Plumas-Eureka State Park. It's in a beautiful area and near the Lakes Basin Recreation Area north of Lake Tahoe. If you want to see some pics, see my post in the Get Togethers section on Aug. 21 "Mini GTG: Plumas-Eureka State Park, Graeagle, CA."

OMG, laughing so hard. That reminds me of Alabama, Monte Sano - Liz was there with Roe and we were hiking - and unbeknownst to us, the water we passed was a mud hole - and Liz got lucky - as MY dog was in it first and Liz was able to keep Roe out. After mine rolled the first time, I just let her be - I mean, it was too late to stop it then.

Ha Ha Ha!

Yes, this little sweetie loves water. The only thing she loves more than water is MUD!!!

She even tries to doggie paddle in her water bowl. Hilarious.
