SNOW, SNOW,SNOW

Isn't it Spring?
Boy did we come home too early. Yesterday it poured all day. Had tornado watches and tornado warnings all day. Lots of thunder and lightening and wind. Lost power for a couple hours around 5 p.m. Luckily it was before dark as we forgot to recharge the lanterns when we got home. Only 1 kind of worked. Then the outage screwed up both the internet and the TV. By the time we went to bed all was working good and the rain had stopped.
Got up this a.m. to see it SNOWING and I do mean snowing, not just a flake or two here or there but heavy thick and blowing sideways. Supposed to keep up until tomorrow night. And it is in low 30s. Oh well it should be pretty if it starts to stick. As long as I don't have to go anywhere in it.
Alfie is probably wondering "What the heck?"
Hope the weather is holding for you in the Pacific Northwest.

You got the remnants of our storm! We have 24"of snow on the level with up to 8 foot drifts and 15 degrees! Like you said -- we don't have to go anywhere so what the heck!

Good grief Soisew 24" of snow that is making me cold just picturing it! You must have frontier courage, of course I don't know which is worse snow or the humidity we have here in Illinois in the summer. I'm looking for the perfect climate!
Yes Carol it sounds like you came home too early! Spring is illusive in April. We were lucky last night think it stayed in mid-thirties as it was forty when I checked at 6:45 this morning. There are so many vineyards and orchards around here that I would hate to see a bad freeze now, and of course my lone pear tree.
I hope lovely weather comes soon for all.

Oh my, you timed it just right to get in on this mess. I have icy slush on my front deck, and temps will be way down and the wind is freezing, with snow flakes flying in it. i enjoyed and was fooled by two days this past week-end thinking, Oh boy, spring is here , then heard the weather on the news and I just knew he was crazy. Well, he is not crazy and I am so ready for this weather to be done. I'm farther south then you, and shouldn't be griping, but this winter has not been the usual. We didn't get our usual amount of snow this year, all we got was really cold weather and ice. Everyone says, they can't remember when it was so cold here, like it was this year.

Wish it had happened before you got home, you had such a lovely trip to Mexico. At least you were able to get your r.v. all cleaned from the trip. Poor thing is probably wondering what in the world is happening :D

Spring Will Be Here!!
