Good Morning Everyone, someone is sure to pop in before me, but was really surprised that no one is here yet. I am a wee bit confused on what the day is, week has flown so fast, full of all kinds of things getting done. My neighbor young man showed up and has half the job done as he said he would. If I sound surprised, I am , as for some time I have had some say and not do , you all know how that goes, right ???

Won't stay on here long, have a lot of things to do today, before rain, and it may be here today instead of tomorrow afternoon as they have been saying up to last night. I hope you all have a nice day, please stay safe,

Hey, that's great that your "guy" is already there & working! Getting things done early to beat the heat? Wow, crazy that it's been so hot & humid there! Crazy weather all over Irmi's back You have been missed! Glad you & Liz enjoyed time together.

Last full day here, & all is running smoothly to accomplish last minute chores. Off to the dump in a few mins, sewing project for cousin, then late lunch/early dinner with bro & SIL today. Tomorrow, last minute laundry & pack foods, & I should be on the road by noon:) Yahooooooo!

This is the first time we have met and we started off with lots of laughter as I tried to get parked! I guess there was a reason I never wanted to tow anything because it can sure complicate my life.

Looks to be a nice day today - even some of the natives are tired of the rain! Wendy's neighbor is coming over to help with trailer wiring - young man who fixed it Oklahoma City didn't get the wiring secured well enough so issue has returned!

I'm sitting at the eye doctor with eyes dilated. Glad I can make things bigger on the iPad.

Less than two weeks and I will be on the road to northern GA for Thanksgiving, then turn westward. Can't wait. I'm getting sick of the same old walks around McIntosh and am sure sick of the unseasonal heat and humidity.

Good morning Everybody from freezing Pahrump, Nevada! It's only 6:00 am here, but I was rudely waken by my furnace coming on. It's right under my bed! It must be really cold outside. I used my electric space heater last night to take the chill off while I was eating dinner and getting ready for bed, but didn't use the furnace.
I'm traveling with five other rigs to Death Valley for the 49ers Reencapment.

Carol, I was at the Apple Store in Town Square Mall yesterday to have my I-phone checked and I thought of you and Bill. My phone totally died and I thought it would have to be replaced. It just needed a "hard reboot". The technician held down both buttons at the same time for 20-30 seconds and voila, it came back to life!
It's nice to hear that Irmi and Steve are well and back in FL and that Wendy is still part of our group. There are so many of us and we never forget the ones we've met.
Alice and Sheila, I thought of you while I was driving through AZ. I'll be back for Dec and Jan and we can all gtg. By then Carolb and Anita should be out here well. We'll have one continuous party.

Good morning to all - our heat is on this morning in the house in Vegas. At least there are no rain clouds in sight. Yesterday it was COLD and pouring. Lots of hail around west of us. I keep hearing Bill mumbling something about "beaches, Mexico, Mazatlan and warmth." If we were still in Indiana we'd be on the road by now heading this way.
Probably by the end of the month we'll head south for Mazatlan. I'll just put off my second surgery until we get back - can't have it until end of January anyway. No health reason to have it sooner rather than later. Just more underwear to buy.
Had a quiet birthday - went out in storm to breakfast then home - cooked a pork roast and potatoes for dinner - partly to warm up the house. It turned out good. Read, watched TV and played with my embroidery machine.
I usually have to look at the date on the computer to remember what day it is.

Glad to have you back Irmi. Can't wait to see your new RV. I won't make it to FL until after first of year however.
Mad scramble here trying to get things done - lot of medical appointments this month plus 2 Holiday Open Houses at antique malls and work around house.
Trying to work things out such that I can meet Wendy and Anita in Guntersville over the weekend before Anita has to hit the road again.
Still no sun but at least it is not raining yet tho the humidity has remained uncomfortable high. Temps have been nice (60s to 80s) but a 20 degree drop forecast with cold front coming in along with more rain moving in tomorrow and Saturday. We really need some drying out time.

Just got a call from the COE and they have closed Cranes Mill at Canyon Lake near San Antonio due to flooding, so my reservations for Monday-Wednesday are gone. Got to find another place, so trying to figure things out. Hoping to meet up with Birdie and maybe a couple others.

Nice and sunny and warm where I am in Poverty Point Louisiana, so going to get some breakfast fixed (late) and then go for a bike ride.

First winter here in FL and holy COW it's hot and humid. I'll take that any day over cold/rain/snow, but wouldn't mind if it would cool off just a tad.

I had that happen too and had a bit of panic moment complaining that the phone was less than a year old at the time. By now it's happened I think 3 times. After getting down from my hissy fit, I tried googling about it on another device and came across that bit about holding down buttons. I think the technique should be iPhone 101 at the store when you buy it. I call it CPR for the iPhone, it works and that is what counts! Glad you got it back and had someone at store who knew what they were doing instead of trying to sell you a new phone!
Another blue sky cool day here in sunny California! Errands,to run and stuff to do, but nothing exciting. Travel safe on road. Judy hope you find a camp you like. Bummer you had reservations rained out, but better to know in advance that be floating!

Late here, not morning anymore. It was rig washing day today; got out my handy dandy washing brush and scrubbed Angel down good. Managed to drain a bit more fresh water out of her tank by tilting her off the driveway. Got the pink stuff in and run all through the lines, did remember to bypass the hot water tank. Now just need DH to help drain hot water heater (couldn't find the right tool to get it opened). All pretty easy thanks to my handy cheat sheet provided by previous owner. Really not much harder than winterizing Pony.

Also got "Silver" washed at the car wash. She's been sitting in the garage dirty since last week. Now that I have some time today, going to give her a good cleaning out as they did a crappy job at the dealership.

Have a dentist appointment this afternoon, getting a cavity filled. Better get going before I have to stop what I'm doing and leave. Might just have enough time to vac Silver out.

Good Morning All, I'm FREEZING!!! Thank heavens for my nice little Buddy Heater. Warms up the inside of the cosy camper quite nicely.

I changed my mind about going straight to San Diego. Made a u-turn and went from Hwy 5 over to Hwy 99 then North, intending to go visit Beth! Saw a Wal-Mart, went in and did a little shopping. As it was late afternoon by that time I decided to spend the night. Long story made short...got kicked out, went to another big shopping center, got kicked out, went to another big shopping center, got kicked out. What's with these big shopping centers?!?!? Down the road at midnight and then a FlyingJ. Hooray. Slept until 6 AM when every semi truck awakened and left, one after another!

Beth's campground is one I have stayed at a couple of times before. I was here in 1993! It is a clear sunny day. Not much warmth in the sun tho.

This is beautiful country. I love coming here.

Peggy, enjoy Death Valley Days. If you have time, be sure and visit Scottys Castle. Go look at Ubhebe Crater. I went to the bottom! (Before I was old and creeky)
Oh yes, artists point is one of my favorites.
