Spring-like Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Spring-like Wednesday

Gmorning all :)

So like spring this a.m.! Yesterday was a gorgeous day, & today to be even nicer :) Those of us still in the "north" country just gotta love this!

Tonight, I go to the Emergency Preparedness class. Yikes, I'll be out after dark! Martha, ditto on night driving. I'll be driving 45 miles home after 8 p.m. I've been driving HB regularly the past several days, & looks like he's good to go. Tonight, I'll start the furnace to make sure that's in order. BTW, I never did get anything done to my genny, so I consider it toast! Hopefully, I won't need a/c when I'm boondocking in the desert this winter. Floridians using a/c still?

Sounds like everyone is doing well, so will just wish y'all a great day 8-)

AC? Oh yes...it was so humid last night that I had to leave the AC on all night on low, so I could breathe. Off for a little while this morning, but temps will be flirting with 90 degrees again this afternoon.

I'm planning to meet Irmi and Steve for lunch today and get a tour of their new RV. They just arrived at their winter RV park in Ocala.

That's all I have planned for today, so will have to think up something to keep from getting bored.

Good Morning, Everyone !!! Had a lovely surprise yesterday afternoon, my neighbor young man that mows for me, came over to check and see if I wanted it done one more time, before snow :D (for Fl ladies) Kind of decided no, and he asked did I need anything else done, he is already working towards money for his Christmas gifts etc. So we discussed my wanting all the shrubbery taken down and away from my house, "oh, I can do that" he says and we walked around there and I told him just what I would like done and he will start on it this afternoon after school. I am so tickled, had to broadcast it this morning, guess you all deserve to know about it anyway, you've listened to me whine enough about it   That was one thing I really didn't want to leave undone, as it would have been twice as bad in the Spring, and I can't walk around there or get to that shed(nothing in it) so afraid of snakes.

Have a few chores laid out for today, but haven't dressed yet, really cool this morning and this heavy robe feels good. So have been working in it :D :D But will have to dress soon as I want to finish packing up the rest of stuff in cabin to haul it out of there. Inside is getting pretty run down, so guess I will be just shutting it up, as I don't want the bother of anyone living in there again. No need leaving it full of junk though.

Sun is not really out this morning, was so foggy here that I felt bad for neighbors having to get out in it so early when visibility was supposedly less then a mile, plus still dark out at that time. Fog has lifted but sun still not showing good. Need a sunny day, or would like one, as more rain coming in and supposed to be a cold front too, temps they're showing doesn't seem like cold to me :D though.

Rambled enough have to get moving, can't set long, bothers my back and can't have that this early in the day, lots to do ;)
Stay safe everyone, but enjoy your day,
CArol :)

Good Morning, Ladies!

CArol, I am so glad the neighbor lad came - I had wondered about your neighbor helping! Win win for both of you!

Can understand you in the north enjoying a nice day! Today is suppose to be decent here - yesterday turned out alright as well. I can't imagine that humidity in Florida!

Yesterday my cousin picked me up (along with 20+ year old Calina and baby cousin babysits) to meet a daughter for lunch. Came back here for the SS and Calina got her ride to the house. Gave rides to afterschool kids at the house including the little boy with cerebral palsy. What a joy! I am just so grateful to have had this time here and to have this connection with my cousin's family.

Today is moving day - off to Wendy's about 45 minutes from here!

Everyone have a great day and safe travels!

Good Morning All, cool, clear and crisp here today. I leave for San Diego this morning. Will take at least two days, and, possibly three to get down there. 600 miles only, but many stops to let Casey put and stretch the legs.

Safe travels, Lyn, I'd take couple of days too, enjoy the ride. Of course, you need to stop and stretch and get the kinks out too !! I'm sure wanting to get on the road, been stationary for long enough, I'm thinking.
Take care,
CArol :)

CArol, glad you found someone to help with your yard work or he found you. lol

It's hotter in Florida than here. It was in the 70's the last couple of days but today it's 84. We may be in shorts for Thanksgiving. Last night they were saying we could get another 3 to 4 inches of rain Friday and Saturday. It looks like the weatherman has backed off that much today. We don't need anymore rain.

I decided to walk on the road this morning. I managed to get away without a cat parade. My left hip hurt so much I wasn't sure I was going to make it to the highway and back. Don't know what's up with that. Sometimes it will be my knee that hurts. Last night I was dizzy. I can't remember that ever happening to me. The only thing I did yesterday was get a flu shot. No drive-thru Margaritas. When I put my tennis shoes on this morning I took a couple of steps and the sole broke. I need to find the pair that has my orthotics in them and see if that helps my hip.

Be careful driving tonight Carolb. Last night when I was going to my meeting I met someone on a bicycle in town riding against the traffic. If the person hadn't had a flashlight I don't know I would have seen him. There a several places in town you have to watch out for black people wearing black clothes and walking in the road. The parents aren't very smart letting kids roam around after dark dressed like that.

Hello everyone. I hope some of you remember me and I apologize for being AWOL. Stuff happened and I'm trying to get over it. Steve & I had a wonderful lunch with Liz at a mom & pop café in Reddick and it was great seeing her. We plan on seeing Nan this weekend. We traded our Presidio on a 2014 Thor Tuscany 40' with 4 slides. We absolutely love this and are still learning the ins and outs of it. If anyone is in Ocala this winter, we'll be here till spring.
