Good morning. It had really cooled down here in CA when I let the dogs out at midnight. When I woke up just a bit ago, noticed I had forgotten to change the clocks - done now. It's so dark out. Have a great day.

Rabbits! How can it be Nov. already?
No sun here today; rain continuing for another 36 hours per forecast. Should start drying out by Monday afternoon.
No big plans today. Have to get to grocery store as I left the pantry almost bare before trip. Cannot decide what I want to eat, maybe something to go in the crock pot and a few staples like milk and bread.
Next chore needs to focus on getting some merchandise ready to go to antique malls. First holiday open house coming up next weekend followed by another the following weekend. Guess I'll be polishing silver this afternoon.
My older niece, Rhonda, has such a great sense of humor. Found note in bathroom when I got home: "Your mirror cracked up. It has gone to asylum. Here's a new one." She broke my hand mirror while I was gone.
Just a little coffee left, then start my day. Hope you have a good one.

Checking in from North Central Florida..... today's high is 90 degrees! November 1st and 90 degrees. Spent yesterday doing my annual cleaning out my storage shed in the backyard. Dragging everything out, washing down walls, ceiling and floor then dragging most everything back in. Did get to toss a lot of unused items that I have no idea I kept hanging on it. Cleaned inside of RV then settled down to watch the Florida-Georgia football game (Go Gators).

It has got to cool off this week........... 8-)

Good morning to all from cool Vegas. Yesterday morning it was so COOL Bill had on a sweatshirt, jeans and his knit beanie! - I was loving it. And by Tuesday the high will be in the mid 50s. Guess we'll find out how the heat works. But then it will warm up again.
We are trying to figure out when we can take a couple of months and go to Mexico [another cool day and he'll have the Alfa out front waiting for me!]
We have doctors - new Vegas doctor - appointments the 9th so once we get our prescriptions renewed we can take off for a while. Also want to set up eye doctor appts so we can both get new glasses in Mazatlan. Getting excited about hitting the road. I feel good enough to travel - to do anything - just have to take enough diapers with me! GRRRRR Then will have the 2nd and hopefully last surgery when we get back. Why ruin the whole winter.
Hope all in Texas and across the south are okay and that the waters are going down. What a year for weather this has been.

Good Morning Everyone, Hey, its wonderful we have a new member posting, Welcome from North Carolina, Patsy !! So happy to see you posting and so glad you have joined us and if you've met Mitch and Sarah and decided to join anyway, you are sure to be an asset to our group !! :D You sound ambitious too, and I for one need to read the activities of others to keep me going here.

Its rainy here this morning, of course, and even with the extra hour of sleep I supposedly was to have enjoyed, (I've been up since 5) I feel wiped out. :D Just can't be changing times on this ole person here, it takes me awhile to adjust. Fall is not as bad as Spring though. Ok, enough griping, I'll be ok in a short while, more coffee, needed :D ;)

Getting down to the crunch time here to be heading south and I can't seem to get the help I had hoped for, so may be leaving chores not done and I am not liking that at all. Still hoping to hear something from guy to do something to my yard mess outside. Sure would appreciate some of these thrift shops coming to pick all this stuff up. I am going to see if my new friends and neighbors on the hill here, if he might haul some of this stuff for me or they can keep for a yard sale. Good stuff, I just don't need or want it. I can't lift some of this stuff is my real problem. No getting by that, so it is what it is when I leave, its gone or not.

I hope you all will have a great Sunday, out west sounds terrible, but hope all are safe, this all will pass soon, just hang in there. Do something for yourself you enjoy today, if its just read a good book, while it rains. :D

Hopefully we'll meet up in Fl this winter, Patsy,
Take care all,
CArol :)

I was wrong about us missing the rain. We got 5 inches yesterday and last night. It was raining slow and steady so most of it drained off. There is still a lot of rain coming off the gulf so we will get more today. It's moving very slowly to the Northeast. Get ready Sarah, it's headed your way. I went out to feed the outside cats yesterday afternoon and got caught in the rain so went in the motorhome. Decided to clean the floor and dust while I waited for the rain to slack up. The kitchen and bathroom floor is white vinyl and I need to get something with bleach in it to clean it because it is getting stained. I need to find the rug I put in the kitchen in the winter because that floor is cold.

Be careful Donna, hanging out with the rescue and shelter people. I have to resist taking any more cats.

I hope I can find something else to do besides watch football. ;)

Rabbits! It's starting to get cloudy here. Supposed to rain in a few hours, but was 83 yesterday! Been a warm fall! But weather people say 60's and low 70's all this week, so maybe fall is really here. Not much planned here. Packed up candy last night to ration out so son won't overheat as his OCD tends to make him do. Had a dozen trick or treaters, which is way more than last year, but I'm thinking was, because of nice weather and it being Saturday. Have a god day all.

Good Morning All, Rain is falling in Healdsburg!!! How is it over in Roseburg Velda? Supposed to get lots of rain today, but will wait and see...the last rain was nothing but a very few showers...hardly wetted the side walk!

I think I will be leaving here this coming week. I really don't want to go but daughter wants "to be alone for awhile". I must honor her wishes.

I've had a sore ankle for a couple of weeks. Pain from "10" down to "2" now. Swelling and hot. After MRI, x-ray and CT Scan, the docs decided it is probably a "gouty flair-up". That's what the neighbors have all been saying...I should a have just listened to them!

This town really celebrates Halloween. Lots of family's out with their kids. Adults and children, sometimes dogs, dressed in costumes. I quite enjoyed seeing it last night when we went out to dinner.

I see Birdie got evacuated from her camp ground in TX yesterday because of the lake lever rising so fast! Hope all stay safe in those areas of heavy rain.

Good Afternoon tho with rain and the fact I, like CArol, have been up since 5, I think it should be evening! :)

Beginning to wonder if Texas will happen - an awful lot of rain in their long term forecast - know it could change but not very inviting. Even thought about Florida! Yuma is looking pretty good! Decisions, decisions!

Lyn, I am so glad you have been with your daughter, but I understand her wanting time alone. Sounds like you need to take care of yourself a bit!

I stayed home yesterday and I was invited to go out with cousin later but think she and hubby need some time before another hectic week.

Hope you all are enjoying your day!

Lyn, I live in Roseville ( not Roseburg, which is in Oregon), and we had a,little rain through the day, more expected overnight. Might get half inch total. Sounds silly compared to feet of rain in Texas, but we take what we can get!
