Has anyone heard from Nasoosie? I've been back thur the posts I missed while out of town and did not see anything by her. She was heading for FL and lobster feast last I saw of her posts.

Soos arrived in Florida safe and sound. I am sure she will post when she catches her breath.

I am here, as someone said, safe and sound!

This computer is in someone else's bedroom, so I don't have access to it as I do my own at home. I get up early, leave early for the pool, ride my bike I bought the other day, and just never seem to get on this computer. I am hoping to set up a wireless network today so I can use my laptop out where I sleep on the porch. So sorry for the lack of posting-----will return to normal when I get home!

Soos - Thanks for checking in; I was just asking about you to be sure someone knew you had arrived safely and found a lobster or two.
I agree, normal is not a word to be applied to vacation time. Have lots of fun and rest time, but don't forget the photos even if you have to wait until you get back to NY to post most of them.
I love FL but it has been a long time since my last trip there.

I have decided that normal is not what to strive for......I have seen normal and it can be bland and scary...I have always thought exceptional.... eccentric.... unique..... memorable..... much more fun!

[color=#BF4000][b][size=125]HOWDY ALL!!!

I finally got a wireless router to work, so here I am at 85 degrees, on the screened-in porch, on my OWN laptop at last!!

I've been biking today----totally enjoying the FLAT roads down here where you can travel for miles and miles with NO hills---and swimming in the pool!

Last night, Goog (my son---nickname for Weldon) and Melissa took Laura and me to a freebie tour of the resorts at Disney, via boat and monorail, and to watch the fireworks at 9:00 pm. Sat on the beach at the Polynesian Resort Tiki Bar, sipping Comfy Coolers and other mixed drinks, to view the fireworks.

Then came home and played cribbage until 3:00 am....drinking fake eggnog and 151 Rum! Woke up late with a nasty head----haven't felt like that in years!

Tonight we will either go to a dinner show/dinner, or something I don't care to go to, or stay right here and cook hamburgers out here. I vote for burgers!

Tomorrow it's an airboat ride through wildlife/aligator refuge, followed by pool swimming, biking, and, if I can find a couple of not-too-expensive tennis rackets, some tennis at the club here.

What a life! Laura's husband called, and it's blizzarding at home! I guess we came at just the right time.

I hope all the people heading for the EAST COAST GTG make it safely there.....can't wait to see pics of the place and you all!

So far, I've not taken my camera anywhere but the lobster feast place.

Hope you all are having a good Saturday!! I might be up in time for coffee in the morning tomorrow!

And, YES------normal is a relative state of being!!

It all sounds wonderful...enjoy the sunshine. I hike better when I'm not trying to climb mountains also :)
