Gmorning all!

Hooray! HarBor will be home today! :)....Mickie, yikes, 2 months? Crikey, are they going to use your Trek for a road trip? & Pony in hibernation for the winter
;(

Glad to hear camp driveway will be available, Ava. But NOAA winter forecast doesn't sound good for the SoWest! I just may be all over the country this winter searching for good weather. OSharon, good laugh for me--yep, April will surely claim one (or both!) of those new dog beds as her own LOL I'm hoping weather will be agreeable for me to make you my first stop again--remember, I got to your house last year just in time to watch reports of the snow storm that hit Buffalo that day?? Oh yes, & we do have snow showers in our forecast for this weekend with lows in the 20s! Fortunately, next week will warm up a bit with highs in the 50s/60s again, & overnights in 40s.

Oh my, Martha! I was just thinking of Betty's the other day! How was happy hour? Sarah, having been to your HUGE house, I'd place a bet on "never" getting all your windows washed ;)

Will be cleaning HB's interior today. Whatever your plans, have a great day & be safe!

Carol, I must have done a typo, they'll look at it in two weeks, I should have it back within the month.

Had such fun last night, we each grabbed a beer and then wandered down to the docks at our condo. As we were sitting there enjoying the sunset a couple of neighbors showed up, then a couple more, people went back to their condos and grabbed drinks and we all ended up sitting out there chatting and having happy hour until 8:30! Such a nice spontaneous time.

Curious to hear how Judy's repair work went, hope everything was up to snuff.

Good Morning Carolb, Mickie and all,

Yep, snow and rain mixed or possible just snow on forecast for here too Carol. That time of year. And then next week back to normal again. We are looking warmer and drier here. Not that we won't have the white stuff, maybe just not a whole lot.

So today it going to be a just do what I feel like doing, maybe nothing, but probably will get into something. Have a few inside projects to do before winter gets serious and now that I have outside windows washed, need to get at the insides. And will probably just play with my coloring book  Bought some Crayola markers the other day, but can't say I'm impressed with them. Need some with finer tips, so will check out the Bic ones again Have a couple two or three here and used them the other day. Looked good. And need to get a set of good coloring pencils as well.

Special day here today too. Miss Molly turns a year old today. Posted a pic in the Pets section. Hard to believe she's that age already Seems like I just brought that furry fluffy puppy home not long ago.

So that's about all going on here today. You all have a nice day out there, weekend coming up for those who work. Safe travels if on the road.

Good morning! A cool day here today after a beautiful day yesterday. Temps have been all over the board the last week with more to come! Now they're calling for rain mixed with snow flurries tomorrow for us too! Yuck, but then some 60's next week. So still time to get out and finish some outside projects. Tomorrow I have to make gnoccis for my friends. Time consuming project but will be payback for him mudding the holes in my walls from the electricians this summer. All he asked was that I wait until he retired and that I make them dinner! So after he does that I can finally get that room painted. No excuse not to get it done!

Carolb, sure hoping you can make it this way! It wouldn't dare snow! And Sue, I love the picture of Molly! She is beautiful. Mickie, happy hour on the beach! Tough life you have! Nice that you're meeting your neighbors. Donna, glad your test results were all good. That's got to be a relief. I have my annual appointment next week with a new doctor. Mine left a few months ago so had to change. I hate breaking in someone new but can't be helped. Guess it's the way of the medical world anymore. Well, coffee is done so best get on with my day. More here if you want a cup. Have a good day!

Good Morning!
Down to 39 here overnight! Carolb, I don't really want to hear about bad winter weather in the Southwest! Actually, this has been an odd year weather wise already for many of us so suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

Donna, glad your labs were good. I went for blood work a week or so ago and have already seen the results online. Makes my doctor appointment today seem a little unnecessary - just need regular prescriptions written again.

Micki, we used to have a 4 o'clock gtg at the AZ park where I stayed with just a few. It was always a nice end to the day.

Sue, Molly is so pretty! Velda, I think today is doctor day for you and hubby. Especially keeping you and Lyn in my prayers.

Yesterday I washed the SS - most detailed wash yet. Need a pack of Q-tips next time for some of the nooks! What a pain

Along with doctor appt, I have shopping to do today - the list has grown. Brewfest starts with a small group who show up early at daughter's house this evening and potluck. Tomorrow will be the big day. Daughter has already told all the guys brewing beer they are welcome because she didn't get hers bottled. She took first and second place last year!

Everyone do the best you can with the day - even if it is just relaxing!!

Morning gals
Kind of an overwhelming weekend for me. Dryer died yesterday right before I got much laundry done. Had to hang the towels outside on the clothesline. Couldn't get my new phone into it's new Otterbox but ran by my Niece's house and she fixed it right up. I have dogs and horses this weekend and it's the start of waterfowl hunting season, and I'm the driver/pick up person. So that means I get up WAY earlier than usual then run around doing my jobs after delivering the hunters. Can't get my checkbook to balance, had to pay a ton of (expensive) bills and file the quarterly taxes and sales taxes for the business, had Pony to get winterized, need to remember to cover up the geraniums on the patio tonight, have to start the electric heater in Angel (she's not yet winterized), I'm not sleeping well so I'm tired and cranky and DH's dog chewed up my table tiki torches that I haven't even gotten to use this summer! Now, aren't you glad you aren't here in IL near me? There's probably more I could list if I could remember it all. Ok, vent over, thank you.

Everyone take care,
Kathy
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Sitting in the free Fleetwood parking lot "campground" this morning waiting for the last chassis checkup. Here is a list of what they did yesterday. You'll notice most things were just checks. It took two guys about four hours. It is going to cost me some money, but I am hoping it will prevent problems in some deserted place in the middle of nowhere. After all, it has been 3.5 years of hard use and 67,000 miles driven!! Good news is that things like batteries are in very good condition when I thought they might need replacing. I trust these factory guys, and have had work done here before.

1. Check and maintain slides and slide motors. Make sure no objects are under slides or bolts missing. Checked and lubricated. All OK. Found my missing socket head.
2. Check hoses and gas supply hose behind stove for fraying that might have occurred when slide moves in and out. Done. Only hose covering is frayed. Hose is intact. Rerouted, so OK.
3. Check water system for an air leak that would cause water pump to take long time to prime. This is the third water pump in my RV, and if I do not use it every day, it takes several minutes to half an hour or more to prime. Same problem with two previous water pumps. Checked but could not find any air leaks. Pump has been working OK recently. Will need to deal with Shur-Flo if more problems.
4. If possible, move water pump closer to front of storage area so it is easier to check and replace. Decided not to do this at this time.
5. Check water heater anode and flush water heater. Not needed with this water heater. They said it only needs flushing if water smells like rotten eggs.
6. Check roof for areas needing caulking. Inspected roof. Added caulking to two small areas.
7. Check squeaking on front cab area. Removed padding inside and looked outside so they could check seals between cab and chassis. Tightened a couple of loose screws that are likely causing squeaking.
8. Check water level in batteries and verify that batteries are OK. Showed me proper water level and verified batteries are charging properly and holding charge. Cleaned connections.
9. Check and maintain AC unit, if needed. It occasionally makes noise when first running. Checked. Not making noise now. Looks OK.
10. Provide me with name and color of touch-up paint for front running boards and coach steps. Comes that way from vendor. Will have to figure out on my own.
11. Replace door holder on utility door. Done.
12. Perform 29 point chassis check. Will do that today, hopefully this morning.

I took a nap yesterday afternoon and slept in this morning, so I have caught up from getting hardly any sleep the night before. You have to have your RV ready to go at 6:00 am and be in the office to register at 5:50 am, and I had trouble getting to sleep the night before. As soon as they can get the chassis check done, I'll be headed west to get a few miles done today. Got to get to Carlyle lake tomorrow and don't want to drive 350 miles in one day. Waiting for them to call, and I might call them and check again right now.

Good morning Everybody from no sun today NM.
It's the first day since I arrived in NM that the sun isn't shining! It is overcast and windy with a few sprinkles of rain mixed in. The coolness is refreshing. Carolb, I don't like the mixed weather for you. It seems way to early for snow. Sue, I love Molly's birthday photo. Waiting patiently to go out.
Yesterday's highlight was green chili stew at the Senior Center, so you can see not much happening here in Deming.
Enjoy today.

Kathy, you sound utterly swamped, it made me tired reading your list! Hope you catch a break asap.

Peggy, I would give my eye teeth for some green chili stew, one of my all time favorite things.

We pick ours up Saturday. Went into the shop middle of July :o Luckily the extended warranty paid for the new floor the slide tore out in the bunkhouse. Got all the annual maintenance done and the cable operator to the black tank repaired also.

Yea! They just started my 29 point chassis check. Unless they find anything awful, this means I will be able to get out of here by 2:00 pm. I am getting anxious to get back on the road to really get my journey west and south underway.
