Thursday, no rain

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

A couple of my friends are touring around Cajun country and are staying at Betty's tonight so I'm making sausage cheese balls for happy hour. You never know who you will run into at Betty's.

Judy, it's nice that you can stay in your rig while they work on it. So many places don't want you in the shop. I finally found a repair place that only keeps my motorhome a few days unless they have to order parts. They are good at scheduling and if they have an opening they will call me to bring it in earlier. The only problem is they are usually busy and it takes 2 or 3 weeks to get an appointment. I am glad I can keep my rig at home. I would have to be a lot more organized if I had to be ready to load everything in a short time.

One of our neighbors has the underground fence and it works pretty good. After their dog chewed up or took the second pair of rubber boots Harold had a talk with them. He shouldn't be leaving his boots outside but we don't want dogs chasing the horse or messing with the cats. If it was up to me I would fence the yard so Hank wouldn't have to be in the kennel but he gets out everyday while we can watch him.

I have only had 2 women cut my hair for the last 40 years. I would hate to have to change. Harold made the mistake of getting a hair cut at Walmart one time. It looked like they put a bowl on his head.

Tina, it didn't seem to take long for them to make your kayak. Liz should be getting a commission on all the women that have ordered one because they saw her's.

It got down to 60 last night but it's already up to 91. They were talking about a couple of parishes that have a burn ban on the news last night. I knew it was coming. Our weather is unusually warm for this time of year. I can remember years we were freezing the middle of October.

Beth, thanks for the suggestion, I will follow up with them.

New haircut looks good! I let her try something different, so she moved my part from center to the side where it is naturally, it looks much softer.

Not on the forum, Mickie because I can't seem to figure out how to post pics here (even with Beth's kind help, I am still unable!)

If you look on my FB page, I'm pretty sure I have one there. And yes, Pony is my 1993 Shadowcruiser pop up truck camper. My big blue truck looks naked without her on!
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

That is cool, I love truck campers. Would have been my first choice but can't do the steps in and out too well.

Yay, Tina! Wish I was there to paddle with you. Maybe it'll inspire the recliner guy to try one out while he's there...

Think he would need to go with one of the classics...just saying. But I doubt that he will get one. It would mean that he would have to spend money. He doesn't do that very often. And well he doesn't use the "toys" he already has and has never gone out in either of the Sea Eagles that I already have. :? But I do think Hornbeck's time line is one of under promising and over delivering to keep the customer happy! I would have my son drive up and pick it up but then I might never see it or get it back. :) 16 pounds......... :)
